Rave jumped at the sight of someone falling out of the corner of his eye.

"Jessica! Hey, what's the situa-" "GOD, THAT BASTARD!" She slammed her fist into the ground as hard as she could, all of her tears being replaced by anger.

"Who? The monster? The girl?" "Gaster. That LUNATIC scientist." Rave stepped back as she said it. She rarely ever yelled or lost her temper, but he'd like to think it was because of the blood running down her face.

"O-Okay, just calm down. You mean Wing Din Gaster- And that he was with you?" Rave spoke quickly, glancing around the room to try and spot another teleporter.

Jessica took a deep breath, straightening herself to sit upright on the floor. "H-He's somewhere in the rubble that's over there. I tried to give him the teleporter and he refused."

Rave couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Well, It was your teleporter to start with." "Who do you think has a higher likelihood of digging the other out? The guy who's one of the most powerful monsters to exist or a little human like me?"

He sighed and shrugged, helping Jessica to her feet. "Okay, okay. That's fair. Do you think we can even save him, though?"

Jessica seemed to stop for a moment. "We have to try." Rave nodded and got two of the healing wands from a table. "Anything in particular that I should focus on healing?"

Jessica shook her head, and Rave activated the mechanism to scan her. "W-Woah! What happened to your soul?!" Rave stepped back, quickly deactivating it. "It's not important. It doesn't hurt."

He sighed and put the wands on the table. Helping Jessica to her feet, she stumbled a bit before fully balancing herself. Rave opened his mouth to try and ask if she was really okay, but stopped himself. What would be the point if she was just going to say she was fine?

"Do you want to go there to lead the squad?" Rave walked over to the computer and Jessica followed. "Mhm. I'll prepare teleporters for all of us as well." Jessica walked out of the room and Rave sighed again.

Just an hour ago she'd walked out the door smiling kindly back to him. "We'll talk later then." It seemed like their moods had suddenly swapped.

A surveillance camera system appeared on the screen Rave scrolled through and clicked a menu, promptly pulling up footage on the camera near where Jessica had headed.

Half a building had practically fallen onto the road. If the guy she was talking about was stuck in there, they'd have to be extremely lucky to even find him. "Hey, Jessica! What's your plan for this?!"

Jessica came back into the room, saw the surveillance camera on the screen, and gasped. "To get him out! Y'know what, forget the squad, I'm taking a van!" Jessica set all the teleporters down on the floor. "You can't just go alone, you- you idiot!"

Rave clenched his fists and looked down at Jessica, who completely ignored him. She set two of the little triangles down on the floor, quickly activating them.

To her surprise, a hand put down one more. She looked up at Rave, who avoided eye contact, and was holding out keys to a van. "Take them. Wait for me while I shut off the computer and have the teleporters get their location figured out."

Jessica couldn't help but smile wide at that. "Thank you, Rave."

Rave blushed even more. He couldn't believe he was going along with her crazy plan, so he jangled the keys to try and move her along. "Go on! Start the car!"

Jessica swiped them from his hands and was gone in a flash. Rave stood there for a moment, questioning his decisions, then hurriedly shoving the triangles into the teleporters.
