A sword materialized out of thin air and Sakura placed it at Niko's neck. The Monarch smirked at Sakura in front of him, smart and quick indeed, he thought.

''Are you here to save him?" Sakura said to the Monarch.

''Of course! Please forgive his insolence and let him go, 'replied the Monarch.

The Monarch felt that Sakura was a mystery and he couldn't take risks as his brother's life was in peril . If force is needed, he will forcefully take his brother back, but if he could negotiate with the woman, it would be safer for his brother.

''I am willing to trade his life with anything you want, "said the Monarch as he looked at Niko with emotions surfacing in his heart. He had seen Niko after many years, though he protected him from the shadows. The only reason he didn't involve Niko in his life was because of the dangers lurking around him. He didn't want Niko to fight and involve himself in bloody battles.

What he didn't know the murder of their parents had left a deep scar on Niko. He observed Niko secretly as he overcame hardships in his life and created a sect and also an organization. He watched and heard news from his spy in the organization how Niko trained the assassins in a hard way and how much bloodshed was involved in it.He was relieved to know that Niko had not killed even one innocent even if the money was high, he would reject the offer.

''Brother! I have let you down,'' Niko said in a serious tone.

''Sometimes failure is a way to strengthen your body, heart and mind. It reminds you that there are more powerful people in the world than you, 'replied the Monarch.

''Well my words are carved on stone so I must cripple him today, even if you give me the rarest treasure in the world, I will not take my words back,''Sakura said adamantly.

''Then fight is inevitable, 'replied the Monarch calmly.

''Yes, it is indeed,''said Sakura.
