Present Day

Sakura looked at the ring, craving to display her culinary skills. She was immediately sucked inside the ring and looked at her huge kitchen. She missed it so much after coming to this world.

The mastery of puppet making came in handy today. Even if someone enters Sakura's room, they would see her puppet sleeping. No one should underestimate the puppet as it was exactly like Sakura in all aspects. It could even talk properly like a human being.

Not worrying about any other matters, Sakura started thinking what she could make quickly and easily. It was not as if Sakura didn't want to make complicated or difficult dishes but was lacking the time to do so. Sakura wanted to earn for herself, so she decided to make pills after Yua returned from her journey.

Sakura finally decided upon egg fried rice, though it was a simple and common dish with her skill and magic it could be extraordinary. She finely chopped the spring onions, capsicum and carrot. Then she shredded the cabbage. All the vegetables were washed prior to the cutting. She cleansed the rice three times and put it on low flame to be cooked. The flame she was using was the phoenix flame controlled by her, it would enhance the flavor of the rice and make it more aromatic. She then added all the vegetables in a different pan and added olive oil, vinegar, soya sauce, garlic cloves, crushed pepper and salt in appropriate proportions. She then added the mixture to the cooked rice controlling the flame. She then fried three eggs and put it onto the dish. Finally, she added a magic mix powder that was especially made by her into the dish. It will be a secret ingredient in all further dishes Sakura would cook that no one could guess.

Sakura finally put the dish on the plate and her mouth was already watering. She took a spoon from the drawer and took a bite of the rice. It tasted wonderful and smelled fragrant. She quickly ravished rest of the egg fried rice with some red wine that was  hundred centuries old.

Sakura looked at the time and realized it was already time for Yua to come back. She decided that she would go back to her room. Sakura snapped her fingers and was back in her room. The glacial ring turned invisible and fitted itself on her index finger.

Sakura sat upright on her bed and closed her eyes to cultivate for a while, however couldn't concentrate. She finally decided to read a book and searched some books which were scattered on her table.

Sakura started reading a book that described different types of dynasties and even the current dynasty was mentioned.
