Doing the work wasn't hard, having to go across town to get seokjin a basic coffee just for him to not drink it wasn't either. Things that he thought would irritate her didn't bother her in the slightest.

To put it simply, going out doing the simplest things let her keep her mind open and she was still able to think to herself. So the little trips to do the most irrelevant things ever did not bother. It was clear what her boss was trying to do, get the woman to speak up but Normani didn't want him to have the satisfaction. For a few days everything was fine, things were going well; they actually had a few contacts with a big phone company and seokjin had her contact some very popular celebrities to collaborate with some brands. With the help from Normani, seokjin was going to make a lot of money.

All in all, the companies numbers were going up rapidly and she couldn't help but to keep a smile on her face knowing the work she was putting in had a good outcome. Plus things with her ex husband were finally beginning to actually get done. Life was good mostly.

There is one thing though.

Roses.

Every time she sits at her desk, there's a bouquet of roses on her desk. Considering that her desk is right beside seokjins, Normani had asked him if he knew who was sending these but he only gave her a confused no before continuing what she was doing. Usually Normani would be flattered but it's kind of freaking her out since she had no idea who could be sending them to her, her ex being out of the question because she had already asked.

"Looks like you have a secret admirer." A blonde male appears, his suit neat and strong cologne wafting through the air. Namjoon. He had a huge dimpled smile on his face as he stares at her in amusement.

"Yeah, I'm not too keen of this secret stuff."

Pushing the flowers to the side, Normani picks up her pen to check a few things that she knew seokjin wouldn't be bothered to do before taking a sip of the Caramel Macchiato that her boss wasn't going to drink.

I might as well be just getting these for me.

Namjoon quirks his eyebrow upward for a split second but she manages to catch the small movement.

"Does Jin even drink the shit you give him?"

Ah so he noticed too?

"No, I'm assuming he makes me get them just to bother me."

"Thank you for coming in Hae-Jin." Seokjin bowed to his elder before sitting down at the front of the meeting table, not without signaling for Normani to stand beside him. Normani does as told with a wide smile on her face, masking the internal screaming she had going on in her own head.

She was nervous. Usually she wasn't but right now she was standing in the same room as Nam joo- hyuk and his manager Kim hae-jin.

She watched k-dramas for sure and Joo-hyuk was definitely one of her favorites

She watched k-dramas for sure and Joo-hyuk was definitely one of her favorites. While she couldn't help but to steal glances she noticed jin looked completely relaxed, he was busy speaking to the manager, them laughing together as they spoke about a few memories together. As they did, Normani sees Joo-hyuk on his phone typing with a bored look on his face. Zoning in on his face, she couldn't help but to basically quietly sigh in a dreamy state.

Why must he be so beautiful?

Before she could even react, he must've felt her staring because he was quick to catch her stare. Already caught red handed she manages to look away before placing a hand on Jin's shoulder.

"Ah, must we speak business so soon? Well might as well get it over with." Jin sighs, "Ms. Hamilton? Go over the contract please."

Trying not to make a mess of herself, Normani let's out a breath of air before smiling to comfort herself. Totally not noticing the obvious stares she was receiving from all of the men.

"Well, to put it simply we'd be excited to get you signed with our company. As for you and our company we know for sure that money will be coming in various amounts. As a top tier client, who comes to our company for help with multiple collabs we decided it would be great for you to try our one year contract with us."

Grabbing the contract that explains everything, she holds two out and passes them along the men who immediately grab it.

"See it's only a one year contract, so when it ends you'll know if you wanna renew or head along with another company if we don't suit your needs. As you can see on the second page, we have covered the topic on merchandising and collaboration with big companies like Calvin Klein, GUCCI and others."

As she spoke, she couldn't help but to kind of be nervous due to their reactions. They both looked like they had nothing to say, the manager didn't even look impressed. Normani was practically praying to god with her fingers crossed behind her back. Before she could even finish speaking, Kim hae-jin held his hand up to signal her to stop talking before giving joo-hyuk a look. Joo-hyuk quirks an eyebrow before giving the man a slight nod that you wouldn't even notice if you weren't paying attention.

So hae-jin finally turns his head to look at jin.

"We like what we're hearing." He smiles, Normani almost passes out in relief, Jin would've had her ass if they didn't wanna take the deal.

After an hour of having to listen to the manager and Jin speak about random things, they finally called it a night before heading out of the room. Due to her feet feeling like they could fall off, Normani decides to sit in the big chair groaning at her pain.

"Fuck." She moans at the feeling.

"I'd watch your language Ms. Hamilton."

Quickly she was sitting up straight, almost falling out of her chair. There stood Nam Joo-hyuk in all his glory with that cute smile of his.

"Weren't you leaving?" She didn't mean for it to come out rude, she really wanted to slap herself right now. And why was she acting like a school girl over a man that was only a year older than her.

"Oh I'm sorry... I left my phone on accident." He laughs, hand holding up the phone that he actually left on the table. Normani sighs before leaning back.

"No I'm sorry, didn't mean for my words to come out like that." Surprisingly she didn't stumble over her words.

"It's fine."

It was quiet for a seconds before he spoke up again.

"And I was also trusting my luck to see if Mr. Kim's pretty assistant was still in here since I didn't see you leave."
