I don’t believe in fate, veraciously speaking. The only thing that is destined to happen in this world is the day you were born, and the day you will die.

Is a human force can really prevent the way on how a person will die? Is this include Divine intervention or all just situational human doings? And now, that concept is full distortion in my head.

Of all the people I know, I didn’t expect  that it was Sir Thomas who will save Picolo from the brink of his death. This is the first time I feel so much guilt. Guilty for not assuming that probability.

Because Candary and I are in haste.

The moment when Sir Thomas head was in blood soak, the head engineer immediately called an ambulance. I saw how the tears came down from Candary’s eyes. I saw how Picolo’s face screamed an it's-all-my-fault expression.  My jaw nearly dropped seeing an unconscious person I know who might die that time.

Or maybe, from the omens, it’s not really Picolo. Which persons from the future said that will die. Maybe it’s really Sir Thomas? No. Ayokong isipin 'yan. I’m not really the type of a student na sisipsip sa guro para pumasa o tatawanan ang korni nilang boomer jokes. But Sir Thomas is seemingly different. He’s a man of substance.

He mentioned that the prey was our Ethics guru.

We made a way to contact sir’s relatives. We found out that his living with his mom and sister. No girlfriend, no wife, no children. He’s to genius to have those I guess?

They look wealthy even if they only wearing pambahay because that's an emergency call.

The weeping of his mother probably on her early 60’s invaded the aisle between hospital rooms. And that made me guiltier. If I only made it to push Picolo from that heavy falling objects, or if I only knew that our professor can smell accident and will turn himself into a hero without cape. Damn it.

Candary’s mom is already calling her at seven PM that’s why we bade goodbye. No, there’s no good in goodbyes. We can’t do anything but wait and hope for the betterment of his condition. Yeah hope, not pray.
