You were sitting in your room reading when your best friends Fubuki and Suoh walked in. They knew they didn't have to knock unless your door was locked. You looked up and smiled setting your book down on your bedside table as they walked over and sat on your bed with you. "Hey boys. What's up?" You asked. "Well one you dropped this after training yesterday and you must not have noticed." Suoh answered holding up your locket that you've had since childhood. It had a picture of you and your brother. You've been waiting to see him since you got the locket. "Oh, thank you." You replied hugging him. He hugged back with a smile. "So anyways how you two been?" You asked. "I've been good. Just training like usual." Fubuki answered. "I've been well, doing my usual routine." Suoh answered next. "Well I've been good as well." You lied, at the beginning of the year you began cutting yourself because you were being bullied and thought you deserved it. You saw them eye you a little suspicious but you brushed it off and smiled while getting up to go grab a snack for the three of you. When you got back you heard them whispering to each other. You smiled and snuck up behind them and got close to their ears, "boo." You watched as they jumped and you laughed. Once you all calmed down you grabbed your snacks and ate while talking. "Have you two heard that Lui is hosting a tournament called the Luinor Cup?" Fubuki asked. You shook your head confused as Suoh nodded. "Ok, so what is this Luinor Cup thing?" You asked. "The Luinor Cup is a tournament where a few select bladers from around the world compete to try to get the chance to battle against Lui Shirasagi." Suoh explained. "Oh, cool." You replied. The three of you talked for hours then decided to train. After training you were all exhausted so you had a sleepover at your house. Over the course of the next few days the three of you had been training together till the tryouts for the tournament started. You decided to pull your hood up so you weren't easily recognized by other bladers. You walked up with Fubuki and Suoh to test your launching strength. "Let it rip!" You then pulled the cord with as much strength as you could gather, you watched as your power level was one below the top. You smiled and turned to see Fubuki and Suoh smiling at you as well for they knew you had the strength and will power to pull this off. You walked away and out of the area to get some time alone. You looked at your locket with a sad smile. When you were little your brother, Lui, left for no reason. You were hoping to win the tournament to get a chance to battle him. Your best friends didn't even know who your brother was cause whenever they asked you said you didn't know. You hated lying to them but you didn't want them to think that you were just like him. Cause you weren't you get along with people easily though you're still closed off. You were walking around when someone ran into your back causing you to fall down and hurt your wrist. You slightly cried out and pain then turned and glared at the person. "Well excuse you?!" You sneered. You took a breath to relax slightly. "Why don't you watch where you're going!" The boy yelled back. He had maroon hair and teal eyes. "You're the one who ran into me!" You yelled before suddenly grabbing your wrist in pain. You rolled your eyes and walked away from him. You walked to the hospital to get your wrist checked out. "How bad is it doc?" You asked hoping it wasn't super bad. "By what I've seen in your x-rays you'll be recovered before the tournament begins, assuming you made it into the tournament." "I did, thank you doc. Are there any specific things that I can't do with my wrist?" "You won't be able to blade for a bit, but it'll only be a few days. What other things do you do besides blade?" You stopped to think for a moment before beginning your short list, "I help Suoh with his garden, I help Fubuki with his training routine, and I organize books at the school library." "I see, you should still be able to do all those things as long as you don't use your left wrist. You are now free to go." "Thanks doc I'll stop by again in a few days to check on my wrist." You replied standing up. He nodded and you walked out the door. You looked at your phone and realized you were late to meet Suoh to help with his garden. "Crap!" You began running towards his house while coming up with an explanation as to why you were late. You slowed to a walk when you heard beys clashing coming from inside. You were curious so you walked in to find Suoh and Fubuki battling another boy. The battle had just finished when you walked in. "Hey sorry I'm late I got held up with something. What's going on?" You asked curiously before turning to the other boy. "Hey it's you! You're the one that ran into me earlier causing me to hurt my wrist and then blamed it on me!" You shouted at him. "[Y/N] what are you talking about?" Fubuki asked. "Today after I finished the tryouts I walked away to think when suddenly he ran into me and I fell hurting my wrist. He then told me that I should watch where I was going when he was the one who ran into me." You explained everything. They nodded in understanding. "Aiger why don't you leave now." Suoh said as he turned towards Aiger. "But our battle isn't over!" He complained back. "We'll finish it later. I, more importantly we, have important business to attend to." Fubuki narrowed his eyes at Aiger as he spoke. Aiger semi-glared back at him so you glared at him with a stone-cold gaze. He jumped and scurried out the door. You turned to the other two to see them staring at you sorta wide-eyed. "What?" You asked sheepishly. "The glare you sent Aiger looked like a glare that Lui himself would give to someone. But anyways what did you get held up with earlier?" They asked. "Just visited the doctor to check on my wrist is all." Then you watched as they trained. As the days progressed your wrist got better and you could start blading again. When the tournament began you were a little nervous but very confident in your abilities. You entered the tournament as the hooded blader. You made it all the way to the finals. You were now up against Aiger, you were surprised to see that Lui had come to the match. In the end you won the battle with a score of 3-1. You were beyond happy, you were getting the chance to battle your brother. As soon as you left the building you ran to the park to begin training. You trained until your arms and legs were sore and tired. You ended up falling asleep. You were shaken awake by Suoh and Fubuki. "How long you been here?" "Since the end of the battle when I left the building." You yawned. "Ok, why don't we go to my house and I'll make us all some food." Fubuki offered as you nodded and Suoh helped you up. You ate and then passed out. When you woke up you were really sore from your training the night before. You opened your locket to see the picture of Lui hugging you on one side and him holding you on his shoulders on the other side. You smiled before closing it again. You got ready for the day and looked out the window with a smile. "[Y/N]! Could you come down here please!" You heard Suoh yell up the stairs. "Coming!" You yelled back down as you began descending the steps. Upon arriving in the living room your smile turned into a frown. "Aiger, what are you doing here?" Your voice full of bitterness. "I came to apologize to you. I should've apologized sooner but I was to focused on the tournament to care. But I also want to congratulate you on winning the finals. Do your best against Lui." He smiled and you lightened up slightly. "Thank you Aiger. I appreciate it. But if you'll excuse me I have training to do to try to beat Lui." You then walked away smiling slightly. Your battle with your brother was in two days so you decided to go above your limit to try to beat him. As soon as the day of your battle arrived you were extremely nervous. You walked up to the arena with your hood pulled up to shield your eyes from lights and so no one recognized you. "Hooded blader. Remove your hood and show everyone your true identity." Lui ordered. You took a breath and pulled your hood down revealing your silver hair and violet eyes. You heard him gasp in surprise. "I never thought I would see you again." His voice was really quiet. "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time." Your voice just as quiet. You then began the match with much happiness. You sadly lost but you we're at least grateful you got the chance to battle your older brother. "Congratulations for getting this far. Little sis." His voice quiet at the end. You smiled up at him before handing him a note secretly before walking away. As soon as you got to the park you sat and waited for Lui to arrive. You saw him walking into the park. You walked up to him and hugged him. "I missed you Lu." You whispered. "I missed you too [Y/N/N]. How you been these past few years?" He asked pulling away. "I've been good. It's been a little lonely without you but I've managed enough. I've got great friends and a boy who won't leave me alone." You groaned at the end slightly. "Who's the annoying boy?" "Aiger Akabane." He growled. You giggled, "seems you don't like him either." "No, I don't. He's also been annoying my sister so that's another reason to dislike him." Then Aiger walked up to you. "[Y/N] can I talkto you alone?" You nodded hesitantly. "I want to tell you that I really like you." He then tried to lean in to kiss you. "Lui!" You called. "Aiger get your hands off my sister!" He yelled. Aiger backed away and you ran to Lui and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around you protectively. "You're safe now." You smiled then turned to Aiger and began singing.

"Where'd you learn to sing like that?" Lui asked. "Zac and Akira mostly. Partly from Suoh and Fubuki." You smiled shrugging. You then layed in the grass looking up at the now dark sky. Lui layed beside you and you snuggled into his chest. You were happy to finally be back in your big brother's arms.
