Anyone know any good language learning sites? I would love to learn Italian.

I smiled down at Cassidy as I got up. Anne and my mother had spent most of the time talking while I was taking care of her, constantly making sure she was comfortable and checking her pull up from time to time. She somehow knew in her sleep and would fuss quietly before settling down with a pout. "I think we should get going," I stated as I slowly got up.

"Alright," Anne said as she smiled softly while smiling at Cassidy's sleeping self. My mother got up and held out her arms, making me sigh and hand Cassidy to her.

"Smart decision," my mother said as she set Cassidy against her hip and said goodbye to Anne before leaving the ice cream parlor.

"She really likes Cassidy huh?" Anne asked watching my mother leave.

"Oh she absolutely loves her already," I responded. "It was lovely meeting you but I'm sure I should get going. I never know what that women is planning on doing when she's left alone with a little one," I laughed softly.

"Alright. Well if Cassidy ever slips out of your office you'll probably be able to find her here," she told me making me nod before leaving. I walked quickly to catch up with my mother which was quite easy to do since the woman had two speeds, turtle and run.

"Well you were quick to catch up," she told me making me glance at her. She was carrying Cassidy closely and making her sit up on her hip.

"Yes I was. I had to make sure you didn't do anything with my baby," I replied. "Why are you sitting her up? She's going to wake up if you keep carrying her like that," I stated.

"That's the point," she said with a roll of her eyes. "She's slept for long enough," she stated while bouncing Cassidy slightly. Cassidy whined and clung to her, grabbing my mother's top and clutching it tightly so that she could couldn't be bounced anymore.

"I think she knows how to make you stop," I snorted as my mother tried to untangle Cassidy's fingers from her top. "Give me my baby," I said making her hand Cassidy to me reluctantly. I lowered Cassidy to the ground and let the back of her legs touch the concrete for a second making her eyes shoot open.

"Hot," she whined as I lifted her. She hid her face into my neck with a yawn as she tried to fall asleep again.

"No you need to stay awake," I said as I bounced her every few steps which made her whine louder. "And it woke you up didn't it?" I asked as I rubbed her back. She stuck her tongue out and blew a raspberry at me making me wipe the spit off my face. "Well that was rude," I muttered while wiping my hand off on her dress.

"You're rude. You ruined a perfectly good nap cause you're dumb and stupid," she said making me raise an eyebrow. I swatted her bottom lightly earning a squeal from her as she squirmed.

"Do not call me names Cassidy," I stated making her pout as she looked away. "Am I understood young lady?" I asked making her look at me.

"Yes, you are," she sighed making me let go of her face. She reached for my mother and I handed her to her with a small smirk on my lips. "You're still a meanie," she told me as she latched onto my mother and hid her face into her neck.

"I am not a meanie," I retorted making her lift her head and stick her tongue out at me before hiding her face back into my mother's neck.

"I'm pretty sure you are," my mother said making me glare at her. "What? The little one said it not me," she stated while rocking back and forth as we made it back to the office. I opened the door for her and she went in, me following close behind her

"No thank you?" I asked sarcastically as I frowned slightly. She turned to look at me and raised an eyebrow with a frown on her lips.

"I don't need to thank you, if I'm carrying a little one you're expected to open the door for me," she answered making me roll my eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me little girl," she said making me scoff.

"Little girl? I'm taller then you," I stated making her blink slightly.

"Only in your heels stupida bambina," she said making me put my hand over my heart.

"You are so disrespectful. Indovina chi va in una casa di cura," I muttered making her glare at me.

"What are you speaking?" Cassidy interrupted making both of us look at her. She shrunk down slightly, obviously intimidated by both of us.

"Italian," I answered with a small smile on my lips. "It is my mother's first language and my first language as well," I stated.

"Really?" Cassidy asked sounding surprised as she looked between both of us. "That's cool, you should teach me some Italian," she said.

"I would love to," I answered before my mother could speak. I took her from my mother and headed to the elevator.

"Cassidy," I heard my mother gasp making me look at my mother with a puzzled look. "She just flipped your front desk lady off," she told me making my eyes narrow as I made Cassidy meet my gaze.

"Is that true?" I asked making Cassidy shift and look around for a second before nodding reluctantly. "That is not an okay thing to do," I scolded.

"She was rude to me earlier," Cassidy whined making me narrow my eyes.

"That doesn't make what you did okay," I scolded as we entered the elevator. "Now when we get up to my office you will get out a piece of paper and write in your nicest handwriting 'I will not flip anyone off,' 100 times," I stated.

"What? No!" Cassidy said as she squirmed around slightly with a pout.

"Yes or else maybe I'll call Mrs. Lee and see what she thinks I should do," I stated as I pulled my phone out.

"No, I'll do it. I don't want to have to a timeout," Cassidy murmured as she squirmed slightly and looked at the floor.
