               Sylene went downstairs and saw Treo, Licar, Lenard and a women. They were talking and the women seemed so happy while looking at her man. She raised her brow nang makita itong napahampas pa sa muscles ni Licar habang tumatawa. The women is hot, not as tall as her but sexy. Morena beauty and long jet black hair. Tila artistahin at nababagay sa action movies, playing the cool sexy chic.

"Sylene! We were just talking about the new restaurant in town. Doon kami kakain, pero ayaw sumama ni kuya perhaps you could change his mind. Para doon na tayong lahat mag-lunch" ngising sabi ni Lenard

"Bakit ayaw mo?" Tanong nya kay Licar

"I just want your decision" giit nito. Hindi nakalampas sakanya ang dumaang pagkagulat sa mukha ng babae

"We'll go, and maybe you can tour me around after lunch?" Ngiti nyang sabi at tumango naman ito sabay hawak ng kamay nya at tila pinapa-upo sya sa hita nito. She only laughed at naupo sa tabi nito.

The women was staring at her coldly, nawala ang ngiti sa mukha nito.

"Sylene, si Vera nga pala." Pakilala ni Lenard sa babae. She smiled at her

"Hi! Im Sylene" pakilala nya

"Naikwento ka nga saakin ni Lenard. Licardo's girlfriend right? Perhaps naikwento rin ako kahit papaano ni Licardo" ngiting sabi nito

"Fiancee" Sylene corrected her and Treo smirked by her remark kahit si Licar ay napaangat rin ang sulok ng labi

"And no, Licar haven't mentioned you."

"Licar?" Kunot noong balik ni Vera

"I don't see the need to tell you about her" Licar said and Vera rolled her eyes

"Then maybe I also don't need to know" Sylene said while looking back at him

Napasinghap muli si Vera. "Im his ex" ngisi nitong sabi

Napatango naman si Sylene. Treo stood uo ganuon rin si Lenars dahil baka lalo pang magka-initan ang dalawang babae.

"We should go now! Its almost lunch time anyway!" Pahayag ni Treo

"Oo nga naman! Tara Vera dun ka nalang sa sasakyan ko" ngising sabi ni Lenard

"I think I should go with Licardo and Sylene. To catch up things and so I could know more about Sylene" pahayag nito

"No. You'll go with Lenard, Vera. Susunod nalang kami ni Sylene." Saad ni Licar.

Vera was left speechless lalo na nang makitang magkasamang umakyat ang dalawa.

"I thought you were only playing with girls for the past years yet you have an ex"

"I couldn't reject the poor girl, my grandmother introduced her on me. Gusto sya ni lola and she was getting old, I only want to see her happy and contented kaya naging iami ni Vera. And when lola died hiniwalayan ko na rin si Vera. I never loved her if that's what you'll ask."

Vera heard that. Sinundan nya ang dalawa dahil hindi mapakali ang katauhan nya. She already Sylene for taking Licardo and now hearing what Locardo said. She was destroyed.

"That's so heartless Licar. And I won't bother asking if you loved someone else before, because Im here on your side making sure you'll only love me more than anyone else."

"Im heartless? Says the one who plays with his boys.. And you don't need to make sure that I'll only love you, I already did Sylene. Ikaw lang."

Sylene couldn't help but smile and give him a smack on the lips. Mabilis syang nagbihis at naglagay ng light make-up. Licar knew well kung gaano sya kaalaga sa sarili, hindi sya lalabas ng bahay ng hindi nakaka-ayos kaya naman nagpahuli silang pumunta sa restaurant.

Sylene's beauty impressed the locals in their town. Pinagtitinginan sila ng bawat taong nadadaanan. Not just because of her beauty too, the people she's with are also good-looking.

"Ang unfair naman ba't ang ganda nila sa paningin" giit pa ng isa

"Ang ganda naman nung maputi parang dyosa"

"Diba iyan yung magkapatid na Ostoniel? Naku ang gagwapo!"

Napapintig ang tenga ni Treo nang marinig iyun. He looked on the ladies and flash a wink, halos magliparan ang mga iyun sa kilig.

While they were eating Sylene noticed Vera's coldness and sharp stares at her.

"Are you ok?" Mahinang tanong ni Lenard rito

"Im not" malakas nitong sagot at muling tiningnan si Sylene

Sylene felt Licar's hand rested on her back. Pati si Treo ay napatikhim na rin. Because of Vera's low-key outburst tila gumawa iyun nang awkward atmosphere.
