             Tahimik na kumakain ng almusal si Sylene. Beside her plate is her Ipad kung saan kasalukuyang nagp-play ang sinusundan nyang series. But she couldn't focus. Kanina pa ang kakaibang tingin na iginagawad sakanya ni Mutya and of course, Licar is just on the corner who looked bored.

"Licar why don't you call my secretary for me and tell her to send you my schedule for today" ngiti nyang sabi at agad naman itong tumango. He went on the sala to make the call.

Agad nyang tiningnan ng matalim si Mutya.

"What's with the weird stares?" Tanong nya

"Akala ko pa naman iyung foreigner kasama mo Miss. Si Licardo pala" sabi nito at napahagikhik

Wearing her classy and elegant corporate attire she entered the exclusive restaurant with her handsome bodyguard.

Mr. Tubusan is an old businessman. And for his age he could still manage to look at her with lust. Sylene remained sitting on the sofa while choosing dresses in the catalogue

"How did I end up being friends with her again?" She asked and Melisza took some time, recalling

"Uh, I met her in this 5 star resort then I eventually introduce her to you. And the three of us started hanging out."

"No. She was your friend and whenever we hangout, she tags along. She was never my friend, isa pa. She's the daughter of one of my father's rival. What would you expect." Giit ni Sylene. Napasinghap si Melisza at tiningnan ito.

"Ba't ngayon mo lang sinabi?!"

"Do you like him?" Tanong ni Sylene rito. Melisza smiled sheepishly

"No. But you do." Sabi nito na ikinasimangot nya

"But men like that are boring. Cold and stoic? You'll eventually get tired of him, I know you." Dagdag nito

"Who knows" mahina nyang sabi at tiningnan si Licar. Nanlaki ang mga mata nya nang makitang may babaeng lumapit rito, the girl is all smile while looking at him. And she knew that bitch too well.

"Is that Mineva?" Tanong ni Melisza

"Hi!" Ngising bati nito sakanila. She's with Marco who was intently looking at her

"Nice to see you, Mineva and Marco. Is these for public appearance or talagang kayo na?"

"We're not." Agad na sagot ni Marco. Agad iyung tinabunan ng tawa ni Mineva

"You're with someone, Marco? Then why do you keep on texting me?" Ngising tanong ni Sylene

"Because you're one of his friends. Those are friendly texts, Sylene. Binibigyan mo lang ata ng ibang meaning, assuming ka kasi." Bwelta ni Mineva

"Yeah, friendly texts like inviting me on his condo to have dinner kasi nagluto sya ng steak." Natatawang sabi ni Sylene na sinabayan rin ng tawa ni Melisza

Akmang lalapitan ito ni Mineva na agad namang hinila palayo ni Marco. And Licar was also fast enough to get near them, assuming the danger Mineva has for his boss.

"Mineva let's just go" Marco said at binalingan si Sylene.

"Pasensya na Sylene." Malambing nitong sabi na ikinatawa ni Melisza at lalong ikinagalit ni Mineva

"Damn you!" Giit ni Mineva at sinampal si Marco. Automatic na nagsilabasan ang mga phones ng mga tao sa paligid. The two showbiz personalities are now on the headlines, dahil sa pangyayaring iyun.
