I wish to be alone;
Escape from reality;
Revel in being unknown.
Away from flesh and bone,
Nothing can truly hurt me.
I wish to be alone.
I shut myself in stone--
It's rather quite easy--
And revel in being unknown.
They say I'm on my own
When I've made the choice to flee,
But I wish to be alone.
God knows how far I've flown,
Running from society!
I just revel in being unknown...
Though, perhaps Truth has shown
That to this I disagree:
"I wish to be alone,
I revel in being unknown."
