A thousand orbs emerge above the rise:
Still, unblinking, a sea of honed neglect.
Hidden secrets, revealed before your eyes;
Marvellous sights the soul dares not expect.

But beauty strikes in countless lengths of light,
Which, underneath, calls lonely heart to find.
Resounding echoes, sweet voices at night
Singing songs like honey that soothe the mind.

The hopeful wish upon a starry sky,
Lost in careless thoughts as dreams unravel.
Their pleas unheard as dawn breaks midnight's cry,
Till across the void the friendless travel.

For those who lose the faded reveries--
We mourn their leave upon the watchful seas.
