I took his hand in mine, to try to comfort him.

{ True... what do we do? How do we get out of this maze?
How do we transcend... }

"Damn it! We have to hurry up and get out of here.
Or we won't make it in time to stop Norman's plan,"
Ray said.

I nodded slightly and suddenly he hugged me tightly.
His arms were wrapped around my waist and his head was snuggled in my neck.

I hugged him back, running my hand through his hair.

"And... the more we get lost in this maze, the weirder my senses get."
He muttered.

"My brains going crazy,"
He breathed out.

"It's okay..."
I said softly, holding him close.

"We'll get out of here."
I added.

He nodded slightly and pulled away from me, kissing my cheek before he stood up straight again.

I smiled, then glanced behind us to see Emma.
My heart sunk as I saw her broken, sad expression.

Ray didn't seem to notice as he kept walking.

"Emma-"
I started but she only frowned slightly and followed behind Ray.

"This room is different from the other rooms so far,"
Emma stated.

We went through it and our eyes widened.

"A desert..."
Emma muttered.

"We finally came out to a place we haven't seen before,"
I state.

"There's sand and a sun here.
Stop time and reverse it..."
Emma said.

"We might be able to finish this!"
Ray said, sounding slightly hopeful.

"For starters, let's try shooting an arrow at that sandstorm."
Emma said.

"Yeah. Let's try anything. We've got nothing to lose."
Ray said and I nodded.

Suddenly, Emma started to get sucked up.

"Emma!"
I exclaimed, my eyes wide as I tried to grab her.

"Not again!"
Ray muttered.

My hand met Emma's and she smiled, but her hand soon slipped out of mine.

"Y/n! It's not stopping!"
She cried.

My eyes widened as she fell into my arms, now a baby.
"Emma! Are you okay?!"
I exclaimed, my eyes wide in fear.

"Damn it. We should return to that room now,"
Ray said.

"Emma... Emma!"
I cried.

She was starting to disappear.
Ray's eyes widened.

I turned and then realized Ray was gone.

"Ray?!"
I exclaimed, searching for the door.

{ I can't find it... where is it? }
I had started to panicked as I searched for the door.

Then, I felt hopeless.
I couldn't do this...

I took a deep breath and fell to my knees as I felt surrounded.

In the sixth painting... there was no demons, right?
No one was able to make it.
They got lost in the maze.

I will also get lost in the maze...

I sighed softly, then, my eyes widened as I saw a bright light.

"Y/NNNNN!"
A familiar voice...
