"Stop it, Maddox! Let go of him!" dahan dahan akong lumapit sa kanya para hawakan ang kamay niya.

"Nakakahiya sa ibang tao. Your making a scene here. He didn't hurt me. Will you please calm down. Let's talk in private. Please..."

Tumingin ito sa akin at agad ding kumalma. Namumula ang mukha nito at halata ang galit doon. 

"Sorry, Seth," I said before we leave.

"Nandito ang sasakyan ko" Maddox said while trying to hold me.

"Kaya ko na.."

"Cleo, please.."

"I said I can handle myself! Kaya pwede bang pumunta na tayo sa sasakyan mo!"

"Halos hindi ka makalakad. Just let me support you!" nagtaas na rin ito ng boses.

I heard some whispers around us. I let him held my hand to stop the commotion we made. Pagkarating namin sa kanyang sasakyan ay agad akong pumasok doon.

"Why did you do that? Hindi mo na ako kinahiya. Hindi ka na nahiya" mapait kong sabi.

"He's holding you and you got the bruise on your knees. What do you think I'm thinking! Alam mo namang nagseselos ako sa taong iyon and yet I've seen you with him. Nalate lamang ako ng kaunting oras Cleo! And right now you still thinking about your name than me! Kailan mo ba ako uunahin? Kailan mo ba ko pipiliin?"  sabi nito at hinampas ang manibela ng sasakyan.

Natigil ako sa biglaan nitong sinabi. Maybe this is what he kept to me for a long time. So that is how he feels. Lumabas rin ang kinikimkim niya sa akin. It's true that angry people tell the truth that they're trying to hide for so long. 

"Don't blame me for what you did" malamig kong sabi. "At least you let me explain before you punch someone right?! I slipped during my exam in the laboratory. Nakita ko sya sa clinic. Nagmagandang loob para ihatid ako sa gate. It wasn't his intention to hold my waist. Some student hit me kaya inalalayan nya ako para hindi na matumba.." nanatili ang kalamigan ng aking boses.

"And I didn't know you think of me that way. I care for you that's why I'm correcting you. And how many times I told you I'm sorry.. kasi hindi kita nauuna minsan. But I try my best! Kung isusumbat mo lamang pala iyon ay maghiwalay na lamang tayo.." my voice crack when I said the last words.

Nanatili itong tahimik. I heard some sniff. Pagbaling ko rito ay namumula ang mata nito. What is happening to him?

"No. I don't want to. Sorry. I'm so frustrated that's why I lost control. But I know it's not a valid reason. I learned my lesson baby. It won't happen again. I promise. Pinky swear. " sabi nito habang kinakalma ang sarili. Kinuha rin nito ang kamay ko at pinagtagpo ang hinliliit naming dalawa.

"What's our problem?" I can feel it. There's something bothering him.
