"Good job, Miss Andrada," one of my professors said. Ito ay matapos makakuha ng highest score sa aming exam.

My first year in college was not easy. Nabigla ako sa schedule na napunta sa akin. My break was only 10 mins at 30 mins naman para sa lunch break. Pero sa ibang araw ay nagiging swerte dahil hindi pumapasok ang mga prof.

My greatest nightmare so far was the actual quiz on laboratory. Hindi ko kayang magdisect ng palaka mag-isa. For God sake I'm from Humss Strand at hindi na ulit gumamit ng laboratory simula noong Grade 12 ako. How cruel fate is.. because my prof was a nitpicky. He looked at every detail of your work.

"This is the scalpel. The surgical scissors. The forceps. The dissecting pans and pads. Dissecting pins and probes" I try to memorize what should say later.

"You're doing great love. Calm down, you got this" Maddox said while holding my index card. He helped me to memorize every step on it.

Nasa starbucks kaming dalawa at tinutulungan niya akong mag-aral.

"O geez! It's already 2 pm. You should go. May klase ka na mamaya. Baka maipit ka pa sa traffic."

"Hindi yan. Are you done?"

"Yes. You said I got this. I believed you. I know I can do it" I assured him.

"If you need something, call me. Ako ang susundo sayo mamaya. I think we should do grocery too. Wala ng stock sa condo mo. " sabi nito habang nag-aayos na ng gamit.

"Yes po. Take care. I love you. "

He pats my head and kissed it before he leaves.

Pinagpapawisan ako ng malamig habang nagsisimulang i'pin ang palaka sa aking pan. Damn surname! Ako ang kauna-unahang nag-exam. Mr. Dela Rosa looked intently on it. My hands tremble and because of that I cut a vein, habang tinatanggalan ito ng balat dahilan para dumugo ito.

"Relax Miss Andrada..."

I wipe the blood with tissue to continue. Kinalma ko rin ang sarili ko. I explained every detail of it. Ng matapos ay nilagay ko ang mga organs nito sa aking vials.

"Very good. " that's the only thing he said.

Pagkalabas ko ay agad akong tinanong ng mga kaklase ko. I shut my mouth and said not to panic.. pero mas lalo atang kinabahan ang mga ito.

"I did it love! I'm so scared. I think I'll gonna messed up. Pero buti na lang at kinalma ko ang sarili ko."

We are now here in S&R para makabili ng supply sa condo ko. He's pushing our cart.

"Ikaw lang naman ang nagdududa sa sarili mo." He groaned.
