Mioha was bounding through the Forbidden Forest, taking a shortcut to the Whomping Willow, for that was where she knew the werewolf was.

She heard it howl: "Kill! KILL!" and doubled her efforts, jumping over tree stems and rocks. Branches whipped past her and her hooves whirled up the dirt. Mioha instinctively put on her unicorn disguise, folding her wings tightly on her back as she got closer to the werewolf.

For a moment, she thought she saw two figures in the forest as she ran, but the trees had blurred together, so she was not sure.

Panic seized her as she heard a blood-curdling yowl, and with the last of her strengths she covered the last few meters until the edge of the forest.

Professor Snape had had a really bad day.
Not only did it seem like no student could get a Confusing Concoction right, his day only got better when his despised Gryffindor students decided to stupor him at the same time.
And now, there was a growling and drooling werewolf in front of them, eyes glittering dangerously as it snarled at them.
Professor Snape had his arms stretched out, grabbing Mr. Potter and Ms. Granger by the sleeve to keep them from doing anything stupid.

Mr. Weasley lay in the grass behind him, he wasn't going anywhere.

"Do not move", Professor Snape hissed at his students as the werewolf started to crouch, muscles tense, ready to jump at any moment.
Professor Snape slowly let go of Mr. Potter's sleeve to get his wand ready, although no spell would be effective against the werewolf.
Sharp canines gleamed in the moonlight, as the werewolf howled one more time at the full, round moon.

Then it jumped.

Professor Snape thought he was reliving the past again in slow motion; a werewolf coming to kill him, jaws wide open and eyes glowing ferociously as it soared through the air-

Something white crashed into the werewolf's side, knocking him off course. The werewolf and the unicorn fell to the ground, each tumbling over a few times before stilling.

Snarling angrily, the werewolf jumped up. Saliva dripped down from its jaws. The werewolf leapt forward with a ferocious growl.
The unicorn had just enough time to get up and turn around, its hind hooves crashing right into the werewolf.

The beast yowled as it got thrown through the air and tumbled into the dirt. But with eyes glowing angrily, it got up faster than the unicorn could blink and pounced onto the unicorn's back.
There it dug its claws into the white coat, ripping them through the unicorn's flesh.
The unicorn whinnied in pain and bucked, trying to throw off the large werewolf. Blood streamed across the unicorn's back and onto the ground.

Ms. Granger clutched Professor Snape's arm frightfully, eyes wide in shock.

Suddenly, something black shot into the werewolf, throwing it off the unicorn's back. A black dog barked loudly and bared its teeth at the werewolf, while the unicorn got up, its legs shaking heavily.
