The following weeks until the Christmas holidays, Mioha was occupied with focusing on her studies.
She had been slacking off a bit, and she didn't want her grades to suffer from anything, come what may.

Geez, I sound like Hermione, she thought once to herself.

Harry, Ron and Hermione were staying at Hogwarts for Christmas, and Mioha once again felt guilty for only being able to get them small gifts, as she had saved a small amount from the money Professor McGonagall had given her at the beginning of the school year.

She got Ron a little kit with several different mini brooms that zoomed around one's head. Hermione got a book on Arithmancy from her, Harry a book about flying techniques and Luna she saved some hippogriff feathers from Firefeather and Buckbeak the Ravenclaw could use to make jewelry.

For Hagrid she made a dreamcatcher out of feathers and unicorn hair, tying in some small white stones and adding a feather of her own wings too.

She got Neville a book about plants that grew in extreme conditions, and she bought Mr. Filch a small jade plant in a pot.

And lastly, she got for Erica and Ginny little earrings, the ones for Erica were silver snakes and Ginny's were golden lions.

The weekend before the Christmas holidays was a Hogsmeade weekend. Mioha spent it in the woods, visiting the centaurs and the hippogriffs.

When she bumped into Hermione and Ron on her way to lunch, surprised to see them back so early, they told her what had happened.

Harry had snuck out through a tunnel, using a kind of map he had gotten from Fred and George, and had gone to Hogsmeade.

Mioha was a bit disappointed that he hadn't asked her to go with him, but she suspected he hadn't been able to find her since she had been in the Forbidden Forest.

But the next thing Ron told her left her gobsmacked.

"Sirius Black was the secret keeper of Harry's parents", Ron said, sharing a look with Hermione, whose eyes were filled with sadness.
"But after a week, he sold them out to You-Know-Who. It's his fault Harry's parents died."

Mioha swallowed heavily.

She had not known that.
Her heart ached for Harry.

He must be so angry now, she thought sadly.

"You should have seen him", Hermione said quietly.
"Harry was devastated. And now, we're worried he'll do something stupid."

Mioha didn't see much of Harry, he kept very much to himself.
He told her personally about how Sirius Black was his godfather, and Mioha was actually fearing for her friend. His voice was so full of hatred, Mioha couldn't think of anything to make him feel better.
She would have to keep an eye on him.
