22: Valediction

We ended our taping in Intramuros, Manila.

It was my second time visiting this place, Achilles invited me on a date with him at midnight when I visited Manila in College.

Of course, him and I hid from everyone to have some pictures.

I'm going home to New York at the end of this week, we will have a taped press conference tomorrow.

Some guesting to promote the movie that will be included in one of the biggest festivals in the country, that's why it's allowed to be promoted even though the due of the movie's still away.

"Do you want to go to our house?" He asked

While we are walking nagkukunwari akong nakatingin sa cellphone ko. Siya naman ay umaktong nagbabasa ng script para hindi mahalata na lagi kaming magkasama at naguusap!

"I think it's not a good idea, Achi, baka galit sa akin ang pamilya mo."

"They love you, Lyra." He insisted

"Huwag na, para saan pa?"

I want to continue it with saying that I'm going back to New York but I don't want to be reminded that I'll be away from him sooner.

He sighed and glanced, "You're right. I'll just take you to my condo, we'll eat dinner. You can sleep there." He winked!

"I have Ryker's house to sleep, Achilles." Sabi ko.

"You don't want to mark all of my places? Para bingo?" He teased.

"Alam mo ikaw." Pikon kong sambit, "For all I know you had your moments with your ex-girlfriend there."

"Ha, you think?"

"Oh, I know." I raised a brow. "Bakit? Hindi ba totoo?"

"It's a new place, Vince was my roommate here then I got my pay check last week for the movie so I bought a new place,"

Tumango ako. "What will we have for dinner, hm?" I asked

"You love Shirley's, but you're not in Alcaviar. I'll order to my favorite restaurant."

"You have?"

"Yeah, kamukha ko kasi yung endorser!" Tuwang tuwa niyang sinabi.

After everything, we wrapped up and decided to take a rest for tomorrow.

Of course may mga details to give for tomorrow, but they suggested it to be through e-mail nalang.

We need to rest for a whole day of working, our last day, finally.

Achilles and I separately exited. Nagkita kami sa parking lot na walang ni-isa sa mga ka-trabaho namin ang makakakita sa amin.

Kotse niya ang dala niya ngayon, iniwan ko na kayla Ryker 'yung akin dahil kanya naman 'yon.

We ordered the food from his favorite restaurant, it was some kind of vegan food and he knows I don't like it but well I have to feel good about it, too.

"This is much bigger than your condo in Alca," I commented while we were putting the food in the table.

"It's been my condo ever since high school. Ngayon lang ako nag-desisyon na tirhan," Explain niya.

"Why?"

He smiled a bit. "It's Aviona's." He said and pointed out the large painting in his living room.

"It doesn't seem old,"

"My Dad kept renovating it for me." He shrugged. "And I miss her, too. So, why not miss her every day?" He chuckled a bit.
