"You look beautiful today."

My breath hitched. 

Me?

Is he talking to the right person? 

"See ya friend." He smiled. 

My eyes didn't leave Jai in shock as he entered into his car. 

I waved bye with my mouth slightly open until he left the parking lot. 

"How many times has he left me in shock?" I sighed scratching my head, 

"Might as well stay for another sprite." shrugging, I walked as fast as I could back into the building.

"Hi, can I have a Sprite please?" I asked while taking a seat in the now-familiar area. 

The bartender immediately noticed me, "Another one?" he tilted his head. 

I nodded, "Yes, another one." 

A couple minutes later, I was now sipping the fizzling concoction out of the glass. 

Dribbles of water dripped down, due to the coldness of the drink. 

I checked the time: 9:00. 

"There's no way the party is gonna end anytime soon." I sighed and saw the bartender nodding in disappointment. 

Then I heard from beside me, "Hey Sahanaa." 

I turned to see the main catch of the party, "Hey Blairee." 

She smiled, "Are you enjoying the party?" 

I nodded. 

"It seemed like you were, with Jai," she giggled, 

"Is there a little somethin, somethin, goin on between ya'll?" she said nudging me. 

I choked on my drink, 

"WAT NO, WE'RE FRIENDS BLAIRE." I coughed. 

She laughed while patting my back, "Mhm whatever you sayy." 

And entered back into the crowd.

I shook my head and saw the bartender giving me a look, 

So you're telling me, that YOU and THAT GUY are JUST friends? 

Mhm SURE. 

I gave him a look back, 

YES WE ARE JUST FRIENDS HOW IS THAT SO HARD TO BELIEVE?? 

He shook his head in disapproval and eyed me, 

DID YOU SEE THE WAY HE GRABBED YOUR WAIST SIS??
