Meeting The Fam

"Babyyy." I opened my eyes a little and shifted on the bed a little.
"Babbyyy." Tae whined
"Whaaaat." I said
"Isn't your family coming soon?" He asked.
"Oh shit!" I yelled springing out of bed and towards the bathroom, hopping in the shower and doing my morning routine. After about 30 minutes I come out all refreshed.

I kept my face natural and my fit comfy. I went to the living room to find Tae on the couch watching tv.
"Baby." I said as I walked over to him and sat on his lap.
"I love you." I smiled
"I love you too."
"What time is it?" I asked
"11:23." He responded
"What about practice?"
"We don't have practice today but I do have a meeting so I should go, I will be back an hour." He said getting up and tannie came running from the bedroom next to me on the couch.
"Tae I need you here." I whined
"I know, I'm sorry but it's about the tour and-"
I sighed as I threw my body on the couch.
"It's fine, bye." I grumbled, he came and kissed my forehead and then he was gone.
—Time Skip (45 mins later)—
The doorbell rang, I got up and walked to the door tannie at my heel.
"Wait." I told him as I opened the door and my family walked in.
"Shoes off please." I said as they all were about to walk into the house.
"That's weird to me." My brother said rolling his eyes.
"It's a sign of respect." I said as he walked past me and I smacked his head.
"Ow." He said rubbing his head.
"Hi Khalia." My parents said and I smiled as I embraced them both.
"Hi Lila!" I said as my 6 year old sister came pouncing into my arms.
"Kaylee." I said as she smiled as me and gave me a quick hug. We all walked into the living room and I allowed everyone to settle down.
"Your apartment is cool, and you have a dog." My sister kaylee said
"It's actually my boyfriends dog."
"Boyfriend?" My brother asked
"Yes boyfriend." I smiled
"When do we get to meet him?" Lillian asked as she played with tannie.
"He should be here soon, he had a meeting for work." I said
"Have you guys met him?" Fredrick asked our parents.
"Yes via FaceTime." Mom said
"What!" Fredrick yelled
"Shhhhh! You're too loud." I said
"Can I watch tv?" Lillian asked
"Yeah the remote is there." And soon they were fighting over what to watch even though it was all in korean.

I heard the door open and I quickly walked over to see Tae walking through the door with roses.
"Hi babe." He said as he pecked my lips quickly.
"What is this?"  I asked looking at the flowers.
"Flowers, it's a sorry for not being here." He said
"Why are you so sweet!" I yelled as I wrapped my arms around him and he handed me the flowers. I quickly took them and placed them in a vase, taking them to the living room and putting them next to the tv, Tae was holding my hand as we walked in.
"Hello." He said and everyone looked to him.
"It's nice to finally meet you in person." My mom smiled getting up and hugging him and he dropped my hand hugging her back. I giggled as I placed the vase down.
"Your boyfriend is Chinese?" Fredrick asked
"He's Korean you uncultured swine." I said quietly to him.
"Same thing." He mumbled
"Not true, shut your mouth."
"Wow he is attractive." Kaylee said
"Back off. He's mine." I said with a tight smile glaring at my sister. She then got up and walked over to Tae who was having a conversation with my parents.
"Hi, I'm Kaylee. I'm 20 and I'm single." She said shaking Tae hand, although Tae has learned a lot of English he still struggles with it. I quickly stood up walking over to myself and standing between her and Tae.
"And you're going to back off." I snapped.
"What is happening?" Tae asked me
"Nothing, my sister is annoying. Her name is Kaylee." I said
"Mom tell her to stop talking about me in a different language." She said
"Seriously." My mom and sister went to sit down, when Tae noticed Lillian and Tannie. He knelt down and sat beside them.
"Hi, what's your name?" He asked her
"Lillian, but you can call me lils." She smiled up at Tae.
"I'm Taehyung, call me Tae or V." He smiled
"V!" She said excited and we all laughed after awhile of talking we all decided to order in food.
"What do you do?" Fredrick asked Tae, who then looked at me and I smiled at him.
"I'm an idol."  He replied
"Idol? Like a singer?"
"Yes, but I also dance." He said
"He's in the Kpop group BTS." I said
"Wait...really?" He asked
"Yes."
"How did you manage to snag him?" My brother questioned me. I just rolled my eyes at him.
We spent time eating together and then chatting more even watching tv when they decided to leave. Taehyung and I both had an amazing time with my family.

A/N: A lot has been going down the last 3 days. I've been on Twitter trying to help with BlackLivesMatter as well as getting people to sign petitions for justice. It's been so heavy on my heart all of this. I wanted to post something lighthearted but I didn't want to seem as if I'm ignoring the problem I'm not I've been sooooooo vocal about it. In real life, social media...everywhere! Please sign the petition if you haven't. Please be aware of what going on.
My heart is so heavy right now. I'm sick and tired of the senseless killings, and hold fear even within me. Just stay safe and stay woke! ♥️
