Taking a stroll in park, Palwasha was thinking about her conversation with her mother

"Palwasha, ek baar itminan se iss barey mein socho." Palwasha's moher put her hand on Palwasha's shoulder

(Think about it.)

"Mamma, I don't wanna bother myself with these things right now."

"Why not? Mohib achha ladka Hai, tumhare papa ne bhi uske barey mein maloom Kiya hai. Aur phir itne dino mein hum achhe se jaan gaye Hain unhe, Ya phir kuch aur baat Hai? Kya tum abhi bhi Zaid...."

(Mohib is a nice guy,we know them very well, or there is something else? Are still not over Zaid?...)

"Mamma, I'm trying to move on par iska yeh Matlab nahi ki ek rishta toot-te hi main dusra jod loon. I need time." Palwasha didn't let her mother complete her sentence

(But that doesn't mean I should marry Mohib.)

"We are not forcing you for this marriage. But beta, maa baap Hain hum tumhare.. fikar hoti hai tumhari, hum bas itna chahte Hain ki humari Zindagi mein tum settle ho jao."

(We are your parents, we care about you, we just want an assurance that after us there will be someone who would take care of you.)

"Mamma, aap aisi baatien toh na Kare," Palwasha got started with her words and hugged her mother

(Please, don't say this.)

"Achha, bas.. Meri graduation complete ho Jaye tab hum iss barey mein baat Kare?"

(Okay, fine... We will talk about this after my graduation.)

Palwasha asked some time from her mother, although the answer is crystal clear in front of her

It's a no! She can't marry Mohib, specially not when she knows about him loving someone else

"Palwasha!" She heard Mohib's voice calling her, she has just turned her head when Mohib came to her while running

"Hi!" When he reached her, he slowed his pace of walk and breathlessly greet her. Trying to regain his breath

"Hi!" Palwasha smiled at him and continue her walk. Mohib walking side by side with her

None said anything, not wanting to break the spell which night casted on them. Full moon which was hide behind the red clouds came out to peek at them while illuminating the park, making it look more beautiful

Palwasha lift her head side way to glance at him, walking by his side made her realized how tall he is, she just reached below his shoulder, he was maybe same height as Zaid

Shaking those thoughts away, Palwasha looked down

Mohib looked at Palwasha and saw her busy in her trale of thoughts, which made him wonder that does she knows

"Aaj.. mom tumhare Ghar gayi thi...." Mohib broke the silence

(Mom went to your house today....)

His voice made Palwasha startled, raising her head, she looked at her

Was he telling her or asking?

"Mamma told me about it." Palwasha informed him

"I know.. elders has made it awkward for us." Nervously laughing, Palwasha said

"Awkward?" Mohib stopped walking and turned ho face her, which made Palwasha stopped too

"Haan! Awkward.. I mean.. we just met weeks ago and I know we have formed a good bond but that doesn't mean that.... That we should get married. Specially not when we know the situation of other's heart." Shrugging her shoulder, Palwasha said whatever comes in her mind, she herself was not sure if she made sense but she needed to make herself clear
