"Jannat! Apne Mamu ke liye beena chini ki chai bana do," Shaista Hussain called her from dining room

(Jannat! Make tea for your Mamu without sugar,)

"Ji Mami!" Jannat who was preparing her tiffin said, she quickly put the sauce pan on stove and looked at her wrist watch which was telling her she is getting late

(Okay!)

"Jannat? Tum abhi bhi yahi ho college nahi Jana?" Asmara came to kitchen and found her daughter making

(Jannat! You are still here?)

"Mummy woh Mamu ke liye chai bana rahi thi,"

(I was making tea for Mamu,)

"Hato main bana deti Hoon, tum college ke liye late ho rahi ho," she pushed her daughter aside

(I'll make it, you are getting late for college,)

"Thank you mummy!" She kissed her mother's cheek and quickly left from there

"ASSALAMUALAIKUM!" Everyone was busy in breakfast when he entered the dining room, loudly greeting everyone so that they'll be aware of his presence

"Zaid!" Shaista Hussain get up from chair

"Tum kab aye?" She hugged her son then asked breaking the hug

"Kal raat ko mere sath," Zamin said making them aware that he has also returned last night maybe not after eight years like Zaid but still

"Apne aney ka batana toh tha." Shaista said as they three went to dining table and sat

(Why didn't you informed us?)

"Agar Bata deta toh apke chehre par yeh surprised smile kaise dekhta," Zaid asked his mother

"Meri chai kaha hain?" Zameer Hussain asked his wife while hiding his face behind newspaper

"Maine Jannat ko kaha Tha banane ke liye, lati hi hogi, tum yeh lo kitne patle ho Gaye ho waha kuch theek se khate nahi the kya?" Shaista put paratha in Zaid's plate while complaining about his health

(I have told Jannat to make tea for you, Zaid have this you have become so thin,)

"Ammi! Mujhe bhi kuch khane ko de dijiye, Mana ki salo baad London se main nahi aya hoon lekin bhooka hoon," dramatically Zamin said

(Serve something to me also, I may have not returned from London but I'm also hungry,)

"Bohot batein agai Hain tumhe," Shaista laughingly scold her son while picking paratha from casserole

Asmara entered the dining room with Zameer Hussain's tea

"Rehne dijiye mujhe toh Meri phupi serve karengi, ek wahi Hain Jo mujhse sachhi mohabbat karti hain." Zamin said when Asmara sat beside him, smiling she served him

He was always closer to her more then he is with his own mother

"Jannat kaha Hai?" He started having his breakfast but then his eyes fall on the empty chair of Jannat
