Hain Jo mere khwaab adhoorey
Kya mill kar tumse honge purey

"yeh kaisi Shaadi hui? Na koi shorr na koi bheed?" Safa asked Hanaya who was ready in the simplest way that a bride could

(What kind of wedding is this?)

"Unhone kaha ki bas sadgi se nikkah hoga aur rukhsati, unhe koi grand function nahi chahiye," Hanaya mumbled, while rubbing her hands together to calm herself

(He didn't wanted a grand function,)

"Woh kyu bhala? Hayfa ki Shaadi toh bohot grand thi," Safa again said

(Why? Hayfa's wedding was grand,)

"Kyuki Fasih Bhai ne aisi koi shart nahi rakhi thi,"

(Because Fasih Bhai didn't said it,)

"Yeh Kya baat hui bhala? Achha tum kyu itna normal taiyyar hui ho? Thora achhe se taiyyar ho," she was about to grab her make up kit from dressing table to give Hanaya touch up

(What nonsense, and are you looking dull? Get ready properly,)

"Theek Hai Safa, waise bhi mujhe yeh sab zyada pasand nahi,"

(It's fine, you know I don't like make up,)

"Hanaya aaj ke liye to adjust karlo, konsi tumhari roz-roz Shaadi honi Hai," but still forcefully Safa applied make up on her face

(Hanaya adjust for today, you won't get marry everyday,)

"Woh kuch kuch hota Hai ka dialogue haina, hum ek baar jeete Hain, ek baar marte Hain, Shaadi bhi ek baar karte Hain aur mohabbat bhi," applying nude shade lipstick on Hanaya's lips, Safa light heartedly said thinking of making Hanaya's mood light

(Shahrukh Khan has said, we live only once, die only once, marry only once and fall in love only once,)

"Ek baar ki mohabbat woh Kar chuke hain." Looking into her plain hands, Hanaya replied

(He has fall in love already,)

She didn't even applied mehndi, what was the point? This marriage is only happening because of their parents, otherwise they both were against it,

"Mamma! Hanaya mujhse kitni choti hai, maine uske bare mein aisa Kabhi socha hi nahi." These were Zaim's words

(Mamma! Hanaya I've never thought about Hanaya like that,)

"Mummy! Apko jissey chahiye ussey Meri Shaadi karwa dijiye lekin main Zaim Bhai se Shaadi nahi karungi," Hanaya was also against the marriage

(Mamma! Marry me to whom ever you wish but please not Zaim Bhai,)

"Main kaise us shaks se shaadi karlu jiske Dil mein Meri behen ke liye mohabbat hai,"

(How can I marry the person who has feelings for my sister,)

But both were helpless when it came to their parents.

"Chalo! niche tumhe bula rahe hain," Safa who went out to see the setting, came in room

(Let's go! Everyone is calling you downstairs,)

Fixing Hanaya's lehnga she hold her hand

Hanaya took a deep breath, her heart behaved like it would come out any moment from her chest, she started taking baby steps, afraid of tripping

Getting downstairs where everyone was, she could feel everyone's eyes on her making sweat appeared on her palm, she didn't looked up

Safa made her sit beside Zaim, for her likeness very close to him, she scoot away from him a little

Zaim glance at her then took his eyes somewhere else,

But one person couldn't take his eyes from her, she was looking everything that he dreamed of, the changes was that it wasn't him beside her, he never thought this will happen

He thought after revealing Hayfa's true face, he will marry Hanaya but....

He left the hall, he couldn't see them together, behind him was Hayfa

"Fasih? Where are you going?" He opened the door of his car when Hayfa stopped him

He didn't said anything to her, the words weren't needed

His bloodshot eyes were enough to scare her,

She leave his hand, shutting the car door loudly after him he drove off

And for the first time in her life, she was regretting

<><><>

Hayfa took her to Zaim's room, who looked nothing like it is ready for newly bride

It was normal as everyday

"Tayi ammi bol rahi thi issey decorate karne ke liye lekin Zaim ne Mana Kar diya," seeing Hanaya looking around the room Hayfa said

(Tayi ammi ordered the maid to decorate it but Zaim refused them,)

"Baitho, thakk gayi hogi,"

(Be comfortable, you must be tired,)

"Balki main toh kahungi change karke Aram se so jao, zabardasti ki Shaadi se zyada umeed nahi rakhni chahiye," when Hanaya sat on the bed Hayfa said,

(In fact change your dress and sleep, you shouldn't expect anything from this marriage,)

"Achha tum Aram karo, main chalti hoon," she left the room,

(You rest, I'll go,)

Hanaya took a sigh and thought maybe Hayfa is right, she shouldn't expect anything from this marriage, she got up to change but the sound of door opening made her freeze on her spot

Zaim who opened the door also for a second stopped looking at Hanaya who was standing beside bed, closing the door after him he came inside

He saw her in nikkah ceremony but now got a good look of her

She was looking beautiful, dressed in pistachio green lehnga and light pink duppata with minimum make up, a jhoomer on side head, choker necklace and a nose ring, her milky white hand was adore with garland made up of rose and Jasminum sambac,

Feeling his eyes on her she was fidgeting with her fingers, hoping for him to say something or move his eyes away

When he didn't, she raised her eyes to see him, she wasn't wearing specs which made it easy for him to see her brown orbs with a hint of golden in them made him come to his trace

"Um..... Yeh woh...mummy ne diya tha tumhare liye," clearing his throat, he took a small box out from his pocket and pass her

(Mummy! Has brought this for you,)

"I know like me you were also forced into this marriage by your parents, tum fiqr mat Karo tumhari padhai complete hone ke baad main tumhe talaq de dunga, tum apni life mein agey badh sako," he bowed his eyes down and said,

(After your studies I'll divorce you, I won't bound you to this marriage,)

When he left the room all Hanaya could do was sigh,

All tears she had dried away, now she doesn't have any tears to shed or strength to wipe them

Placing the small box on side table she went to change her dress
