"He wants to talk to you."

Jennie smiled at him.

Tarhyung watched as she made her way to the swing.

"Guess I'll just wait somewhere else."

The playground was empty at this time.

"I'm here."

Jennie spoke, startling the boy at the swings.

"You scared me." He laughed.

Jennie giggled and sat beside him, on another swing.

"You could have told me you were going to disappear again."

Jennie looked down, her feet swinging back and forth in the air.

"I was worried."

Jongin was startled. A small smile formed on his face.

"I'm sorry."

Jennie looked at him, returning the odd smile.

"Suho spoke to you, didn't he?"

Jennie nodded.

"I'm really sorry about that. He's just really worried."

She smiled lightly.

"It's okay. I found it nice how he would do that for you. You must mean so much to him."

Jongin smiled a bit.

"Maybe I do."

A short, but powerfully awkward silence emerges in between the two of them.

"I guess you know why I asked you to come here."

He breathed out.

"I have Hanahaki."

"I'm dying, Jen."

"Please help me live."

He suddenly held her hand, startling her.

"Please give me the chance to love you."

Taehyung reached out to take the ice cream sandwich.

He thanked the employee and headed out.

"I hope you make it faster, Ruby Jane. Or this thing will melt."
