One More Night

Kabanata 52

Revi's PoV

Almost all of what we need to care for our wedding is ready. From the smallest details including the venue and dresses is all up. Now, we are just waiting if when will Ellaine wake up.

Her family is very busy on their businesses and other matters, so her mom is the one who's taking care of her. Though she also got a gunshot and admitted here in the hospital, she recovers, and can walk now.

She's currently here in the room, with me and Ellaine. And I help her mom in taking care of her. And because of that, we have been acquainted with his mom somehow, and we're just having a conversation right now.

"I'm not her real mother, but I treated her as my own child. I took care of her since she started living with his father." she said.

She's telling her story about their blood relation. And, I just found this out, that she's not her real mother. I dont care, but I just listened to her.

"I want her to be free. I want her to live the life where she's happy, but this happened to her." she sighed, "Her father should not let his daughter being like this. He should not let Ellaine to clean their mess."

And I totally get what she says. She doesnt like Ellaine to be tied on me. But, I just let that words pass on my other ear.

I know about the Faraon's debts on my family, and I get the point of Mrs. Desa. But, its already happening. Ellaine is the one that my father's choice for me. And, I know her role in our family. She's the compensation for family's huge debt.

But, it doesnt matter to me. I dont care if why she'll be tied on me. And, I'll not let myself to join their misery, of course. Its just my dad's decision. And If dad wants me to marry her, then I'll do it. Ellaine got the respinsibility to clean her family's junk. So, she have to do this.

But, my thoughts disappeared when I heard her speak again.

"You know, I love Ellaine very much. And I will do everything just to make her happy. But, I can't do that for now, because she's still ill." she added.

She' really worried for her daughter, so am I. I know that we're not close enough for me to worry about her. But I'm still a person with feelings, and I'm worrying for a person, too.

But, I didnt let her see that. I just smiled, "She'll wake up, soon."

I just stare at Ellaine's face when I noticed that her mom is looking at me. And she just speak.

"Why are you here again, anyway?" she asked. And I didnt answered immediately.

Yes, I'm here on her side, again. Because I wanted to see every day. My dad also likes this thing that I'm doing, so I just continue. I also think that she fits to be my wife. She got the looks, and I think she has that 'wife material' thing.

Other than that, I also do not know why but I really want to see her every time. For the ladt time, I'm just attracted on her.

But now, I don't know. Currently, I'm not just attracted to her.

Maybe, I'm starting to like her. I don't know, but I guess.

However, I think that It's not bad. We'll be get married and tied anyway. But, I still want to know her, and everything about her, and what she likes. I also plan to spend my time with her before we get married.

"Why are you here again?" and I just looked at her when she repeated that question. And I decided to answer her mom.

"Because...I just want to see her." and when I said that, her mom didnt speak again.
