Eleazar's PoV

I suddenly got a call from the Photoshoot and Ms. Lopez had said that Charlotte was being rude to the workers.

At that I had to leave the meeting.

Once I left the room I knew I just breached our contract and it was down the drain now.

I opened the door and went over to Charlotte.

"Charlotte I was called down here because you were causing trouble for my employees" I said.

I really didn't like have to be angry.

I didn't want to be mad at her.

But that contract was very important.

Then I told her that she was going to be sent home.

I walked back into the building hoping that the contract would be sustainable.

After 3 hours of convincing the contract was being revived.

I sighed in relief.

"I guarantee you that our company will make your product a success" I said shaking hands with the leader of the Alpha project.

I walked back to my office and I looked down at my watch, it was 8:30 at night.

Then slowly concern rose.

I had sent Charlotte home about 4 hours ago.

And she is all alone in the manor.

I smacked myself in the face.

She must be terrified right now.

I grabbed my car keys.

"Brian you're capable of taking on these tasks" I said as I set the stack of documents on his desk.

"Yes Sir" he said.

I went into the elevator.

I was too harsh on her.

I can't believe in the midst of anger I didn't realize sooner.

I stepped into my car.

I drove out of the valet parking and turned onto the highway.

I turned onto Oakdale drive and my mansion was coming closer.

To my dismay I didn't see any lights on.

I signaled the gates to be opened then I pressed the garage and I parked my car.

I swiftly got out of the car I rushed inside.

The kitchen was empty.

The living room was untouched.

She hasn't had dinner yet.

I placed my briefcase down.

"Charlotte?" I called out but there no response.

I walked up the stairs.

Even the second level was dark.

My worry heightened.

I never left Charlotte unaccompanied for more than 2 hours.

And it's been 4 hours nearly 5 in counting.

I hurried to her room.

I frowned.

She wasn't here either.

Where can she be? Did she run away? No she can't.

I shook my head.
