Romancing the Nanny

Another day, another date

"Okay na. Ikaw na sa kabilang braso kasi hindi ko abot."

"Thanks." 

Inabot niya ang bottle sa akin at inumpisahan lagyan ng spf ang kabilang braso pati na rin ang mga binti niya tapos ang dibdib at abs niya. Pinapanood ko lahat ng galaw niya. Bale naging live show ng Magic Mike ang simpleng paglalagay ng sunscreen.

Bago pa man ako magkasala muli ay narating na namin ang area kung saan kami mag-snorkel. Lahat kami tumayo at isa-isang kaming nagsuot ng kanya-kanyang masks. Walang may gustong magsuot ng fins.

"Can someone carry the go pro under the water!?" Lerma shouted.

"I'll do it!" River shouted. "I want to get the best shots to share in my account."

Kier got my attention when he snake his arm around my waist.

"You good?" he asked. 

"Yeah. I'm excited to go in the water." nakangiting sabi ko habang ipinalibot ang tingin sa karagatan. I can't get over the colour of the water... it was a mixed of light blue and green, so beautiful.

"Ang ganda," natutuwang sabi ko kay Kier. 

Nakangiti din siya sa akin. "Mas gumanda lalo." 

My mouth parted. He smiled again then he kissed the back of my head. 

 "Ayusin na natin yan mask mo dahil bababa na tayo."

"O-okay."

Tinulungan niya ako ipwesto ang mouthpiece sa bunganga ko. I bite on it. He did the same to his own mouthpiece. Pinauna niya akong bumaba sa tubig gamit ang hagdan sa gilid ng boat.

I swim a little bit further to give a space for him in the water. When I've seen that he reached the water, I lay flat on my stomach. I put my face in the water and tried to breath in and out through the tube. When that is done, I begin looking for fishes.

Hindi ko alam kung saan nagpunta si Kier. Pero may mga nakita akong parrotfish so sinundan ko kung saan sila patungo. I got so excited when I spotted an albino parrotfish. That was so cool.I looked around the water to see if River is nearby. Nakita ko ang swimsuit niya sa di kalayuan.

I submerged myself and swim towards River. Kaya lang napuno agad ng tubig ang tube ko kaya umahon ako para makahinga. I took my mouthpiece out of my mouth to release the water that filled my breathing tube.

Nakita ko si River na nakaahon din kaya kinawayan ko siya.

"THERE ARE PARROTFISHES OVER THERE!" sigaw ko sabay turo sa kung saan ako galing kanina.

"COMING!" sigaw niya pabalik. Nakita ko siyang lumusong ulit hawak ang gopro sa isang kamay.

Kumaway si Kier sa akin. I did the same. He point at something underneath. 

So I swim closer to him to see what it is. Umahon muna ako ulit para sumagap ng hangin. Pati siya ganun din ginawa. We were just floating now.

"Ano yun?" tanong ko. 

"A Turtle."

"Really? I'm going in."

I put on my mouthpiece and dive down again. 

Buti na lang mabagal ang turtles kaya hindi pa siya nakakalayo. It was massive. First time ko makakita ng ganito kalaking turtle sa buong buhay ko. Sinundan ko lang yung turtle. Nasa kabilang side nung turtle si Kier.

He thumbs up. I just waved at him coz I was so happy... seeing a turtle and experiencing this with him.

I resurfaced again so I can breath. Sumunod si Kier sa akin.
