Fan Girl: "Whaaa! Kudou-sama is amazing as always!"

Fan Girl: "She really is! She's so perfect!"

"Perfect is giving her too much credit...."

The fan girls all turned around to me.

Crap.

Fan Girl: "ARE YOU SAYING KUDOU-SAMA ISN'T PERFECT?!"

Fan Girl: "HOW ARE YOU ONE TO JUDGE KUDOU-SAMA?!"

All the girls were giving me death glares and yelling at me.

Sumire POV

When I landed my leap I kept hearing loud noises coming from outside the room. It was disturbing the class too. So then I went outside and saw...

"...Fudou?"

Fudou was getting swarmed by many of the girls who always came to watch us practice. Mostly, watch me... it was getting a little annoying. I sighed inside.

Why is Fudou here though? Don't tell me....

Then Fudou noticed me.

Fudou: "S-Sumire!"

All the fan girls turned to me.

Fan Girl: "Ah! K-Kudou-sama!"

Fan Girl: "W-Wait did he just called her by f-first name?"

Fan Girl: "W-We're sorry Kudou-sama! Do you know this boy?"

I look at Fudou and his eyes were saying "get these girls away from me". I look back at the girls and turn my head to side.

"No."

Fudou: "WHA-"

Fan Girl: "O-Oh, okay then Kudou-sama!"

Fan Girl: "D-Do your best, we're cheering for you!"

"Thank you, but please try to keep it quiet."

I said and look at Fudou one last time before going back inside our training room. He was glaring at me. When I went back in our training room I could hear the girls yelling at Fudou again.

...Hold your laugh in, Sumire. Keep a straight face.

Girl: "Kudou-san, is everything alright?"

"Hm? Oh, yes don't worry about it."

*After practice*

It was already night time and the class finally ended. Then when everyone left I peeked out the door. Fudou was sitting against the wall completely exhausted. I secretly smiled looking at him but stopped when he looked up. He saw me and gave me a glare.

"Want to come in?"

Fudou immediately came in the room and fell down on the mat. Then he grunted.

Fudou: "What did you do that for?!"

"...What are you talking about?"

Fudou glared at me.

Fudou: "Don't give me that! I'm talking earlier!"

I put my hand on my chin.

"It wouldn't make much of a difference if I told them if I knew you though, right?"

I turned to him.

"In fact, they would have asked you way more questions then."

Fudou: "Ugh... you..! Tch!"

Fudou layed back down on the mat. I stared at him. He looked so worned out that...

Fudou looked up at me.

Fudou: "Huh?"

I feel myself shaking and then I couldn't anymore.

Fudou stared at me with his eyes wide open.

"Hahaha! You're face when it happened....! It was...." *giggle*

Fudou: "Wha... H-Hey don't laugh!"

"Hahaha! I'm sorry! But I can't! Haha!"

Fudou: "...Tch!"

*ring ring*

"H-Huh?"

I took out my phone and got a text from Fuyuka.

Fuyuka: Our first opponents for the first match is Australia's team! Good Luck Onee-chan!

"Hm.... Australia, huh?"

Fudou: "What?"

"Our first opponents for the FFI is Australia's team. I believe their team name was Big Waves..."

They're favorites in the for the championship too I think.

Then I started to get ready to leave. For some reason, Fudou stuck around.

"Fudou?"

Fudou: "Tch. You take too long."

Then he started walking.

Was he.... waiting for me?

Fudou: "Hurry up."

"Okay."

What a strange feeling. But it always nice to walk with someone.

*Next Day*

I started packing some things. For now, I'll be staying over at the building where the rest of the team is for training. Then when I entered the building...

Everyone: "Eh?!"

Endou: "No practicing?"

Michiya: "This is an order. For the two days before our match against Australia, I won't let you leave the training camp hall."

Ah~ so this is why Dad wanted me to stay here for a while?

Kidou: "Coach Kudou. What do you mean?"

Michiya: "Exactly what I'm saying."

Kidou: "We've only recently been convened together as Japan's nationals. As a team, we're not ready! We should use these two days to enhance our team's combination plays."

Michiya: "I'm the coach. You will obey my orders."

I knocked on the side of the wall and everyone turned around.

"Dad, I've brought everything."

Michiya: "Good, you heard my orders yes?"

"Yes."

Michiya: "Good, well then all of can go back to your rooms."

Then Dad left.
