"So what exactly are you implying Mr. Reed?" Blake growled.

"I'm just saying that you will not be getting special treatment because of who your father was. Yes it's a tragedy of what happened but just because you are his daughter doesn't mean you can misbehave."

"I never said I wanted special treatment cause quite frankly I don't care how people act with me. But don't even think I misbehave because of him. This is the way I am so if you really have a problem with it take it up with someone who cares."

With that Blake walked off with her head high.

She knew she shouldn't have talked back to the principal. She could easily be kicked out but there was nothing she could do now.

Blake walked into class late and everyone looked at her.

"Why are you late?"

"I was with the principal."

"I'll give a call down."

She sat in her assigned seat while a few people continued to stare at her.

She pretended she was going to jump up at them and they flinched and looked away making her snicker.

§

"Why did the principal call you this morning?"

"I don't see how that's any of your business."

Blake leaned back in her chair and cocked an eyebrow at Jace.

"Oh come on! I'm trying to be your friend" he groaned.

"I'll save you the time, we won't be friends."

He gave her a look.

"Come on princess."

She glared at Jace so hard that if looks could kill he would be dead.

"Don't ever call me that again" she spat out.

"Aw why not princess?"

Blake shot up and grabbed the collar of his shirt.

"If I were you I would not call me that name anymore."

She shoved him back making him fall backwards on his chair. Everyone turned to the sudden loud bang seeing Jace roll from the chair and hop up off the floor.

Blake stormed out of the lunchroom and sat outside her next class.

"I'm sorry."

"Leave me alone Jace."

"Listen-"

"No you listen!" Blake snapped.

She stood up and came face to face with Jace since she was wearing her combat boots. She was glad, being an inch shorter wouldn't have been as intimidating.

"I don't know why you are everywhere I am. I don't understand why you feel the need to come and be friends with me. I do not want to be your friend, get that through your thick skull. So leave me the hell alone and stop trying to get all up in my business" she growled.

"I'm just trying to be nice."

"I don't want you to be. I'm better off on my own anyways. So just leave me alone and save us both the time and energy and just don't speak to me."

"But-"

"Dear god Jace! Just leave it alone. We aren't friends. So go."

He gave Blake one last look before walking off down the hall sadly.

After her detention Blake texted her mom and she was still at work.

So she decided to go to the tattoo parlor.

She already had two tattoo's and she wanted more. One for her dad and one matching one with her mom. She was getting another for her dad.

Blake already had a drawing and the guy turned it into stencil. She laid down and he put it on her right shoulder.

"You ready?" the guy asked as the tattoo gun began buzzing.

"Yes."

It turned hurt as bad as she thought it would and once if was finished she stared at it.

"I love it, thanks" she said as she stared at it.
