I woke up, tangled with Lucas the day after. My eyes caught his face, exploring his features intently "stop staring baby" he smirked, pulling me closer to him "how can I not" I reply, snuggling my head into the crook of his neck

"What are we doing today?" He asked after a few moments, not releasing his grip on me "we're all going to hang out at Topangas" I reply softly "are you excited about college?" I add after a few minutes. I felt him smile against the top of my head "I am" he replied.

"Good you deserve it" I inform him, kissing the skin of his neck gently. I untangled myself from his sheets, going to his bathroom and closing the door behind me. I shower, changing into clothes I brought  to wear today before exciting the bathroom to see him sitting on top of his now made bed

"Your turn" I sing, sitting on the bed while he goes to the bathroom as if we were swapping over. I wait patiently for a few minutes until he emerged from the bathroom "ready to go?" He asked, taking my hand and pulling me up from the bed "yup" I reply, leaving the bedroom with him.

We head down the stairs toward the door, getting into his car and driving to Topangas where we met the others. "Hi peaches" Riley greeted once we got through the door, sitting beside her on the couch "so, Lucas. College aye" Zay nudged him as they laughed "yea. Exciting" Lucas smiled

"What are you gonna do?" Sofia asked curiously "I'm not sure..veterinarian?" He suggested unsure of what to study "you'll be a good vet" I smile, warping my hand around his bulging muscles. He looks to me with a smile, kissing my forehead

"How about we do something for Christmas Day? All of us?" Isadora suggested from the other couch "that's a good idea..before we go off to college" Zach replied "well we can go up to the cabin?" Lucas suggested "that would be perfect" Riley dreamed

"Cool well I'll ask my mom" Lucas replied. We nodded, continuing talking about random things "Lucas, I hear Missy Bradford also applied for Columbia" Farkle spoke up, changing the subject back to college "really?" Lucas asked surprised

"Yea. I dunno tho" he shrugged, leaning back in his seat. Lucas sat quietly for a few moments before Riley spoke up "guys i'm sorry..I gotta go. My mom asked me and maya to come home" Riley looked at me confused, reading a text off her phone.

I looked at Lucas with furrowed eyebrows, his expression the same as mine "uh I'll call you" I tell him, standing up and leaving through the cafe doors with Riley "Riley what's going on?" I asked confused once we got to the subway "my mom text saying the college application had come back..go to yours but don't open it and then come to mine. We can open them together" Riley smiled happily

"Oh my god. Okay I'll see you soon" I reply, getting off at my stop and rushing to my apartment. I don't even bother going into the house itself, just opening the mailbox and pulling out the big white envelope Inside. I read the lettering, biting down on my lips from nervousness.

I shoved the envelope in my bag, exciting my building and heading to Riley's. I climbed up her fire escape to meet her in her bedroom sitting patiently "are you ready?" She asked nervously, holding the envelope in her lap. "Yep. At the same time" I reply "3..2..1" we say in unison before ripping open the envelope, scanning the page intently

"We here at Oxford University are happy to announce your place in the college, welcoming you" we read together. We jump up hugging each other screaming, tears running down our face "we got in!" we cheered happily, rolling around on the floor.

"So we take it you got in?" The Matthews spoke, standing at her bedroom door. We nod, standing up and giving them a hug "so..you guys realise that this means leaving Farkle and Lucas here..Right?" Mrs Matthews stated

Riley and I looked back to each other, smiles falling off our faces "I-I actually didn't think of that" I say quietly, shifting over to the bay window "Girls, Don't let the boys affect you. This has been your dream since you guys were 5" mr Matthews comforted before leaving through the bedroom door again

"So.." Riley started, sitting down beside me "you gonna go?" I ask quietly "..yea..you?" She cried softly "..yea.." I say quietly, holding her hand.
