"Come on girls" I say, Standing up from my moms hospital bed at around 1:30am. Zoe was practically asleep beside me and maya didn't look too happy "do you want me to come back?" I ask my mom "no no! You guys go home. Can you bring me some clothes and stuff for tomorrow? They want me to go straight to the rehab facility" she informs me

I nod, she had her phone with her and there was a tv in the hospital room so she was okay for now. We said our goodbyes and headed out the hospital. I got in the front seat, and turned the ignition on. On the drive home we sat in silence just like the way there, it was a comfortable silence however.

When we got home I carried Zoe up to bed, tucking her into the sheets and turning on her night light. Maya stood in the doorway watching our interaction, tiredness written all over her face. She shut the bathroom door that my mom was in earlier, not wanting to see it for now.

"Do you have like spare clothes" she asked quietly, motioning to her jeans and crop top "and a spare toothbrush" she added. I lead her to my room, pulling out some grey sweatpants and a big oversized blue T-shirt for her to put on.

I headed over to the bathroom that we closed while maya changed to find a spare toothbrush, trying my hardest not to focus on the mini crime scene around me. I found a new one and shut the door quickly. By the time I got back maya was already changed

"Here" I tell her, giving her the toothbrush. She walked across my room to the bathroom attached to it, opening the door to brush her teeth. I quickly took my top off, changing into sweatpants then met her in the bathroom

We brushed our teeth quietly, I finished and left the bathroom while she stayed to tie her hair up into a ponytail, using the mirror. I got into my bed, pulling the covers up over me "goodnight" maya said quietly, coming back to my room and closing the door to the bathroom

"Where are you staying" I ask her "uhh I-I don't know" she shrugged "I hope you know that wherever you go, in 2 minutes I will be there to" I chuckled, earning a smile from her. She walked over to my light switch, turning it off then coming back to climb into bed beside me

"Thank you Maya" I mumble quietly to her, she lifts her head from the edge of the pillow, straightening her head to look at me "for what?" She questioned, her forehead growing as she lowered her eyebrows "for everything you've done" I tell her

She smiled softly, "I haven't done anything" she said, moving her body onto mine so that she's lying half on top of me and half on the bed, her head resting on my chest. I snaked my arms around her waist, holding her close to me

"You're so special to me" i whisper quietly. I felt her eyelashes flutter lightly against my chest as she blinked, she sat still for a few moments, not speaking or moving. The only sound that was heard was our synced breathing.

I smiled softly against her head, I didn't need her to reply to me, I just needed her to know. We sat for a few more seconds before she begun moving around again. She pushed her head back to create some distance between us, her eyes examining my face

"What?" I ask quietly. Her eyes flickered down to my lips for a light few seconds before turning back to me "I'm gonna regret this" she mumbled barely audibly. "Regret wha-" I begin to ask before being cut off by her lips fitting perfectly between mine.

Her small hand, moved up to the side of my face as she kissed me, an electric pulse shocked me as every problem in my life melted away, The only thing that mattered right now was us. She pulled away, looking deep into my eyes

"That was really bad timing" I she mumbled, thinking about the events of the day "no..No..it was perfect timing" I tell her, leaning down to kiss her again which she quickly returned
