"Finally! I've waited a whole week for this moment!" Riley sang as she opened her window for me to climb through "riles it's just a dance" I reply, letting my legs drop to the ground. "Maya! It is a time where we all get together and dance in ball gowns" she shrieked, holding her dress up to her body

"Your dad let us in" Isadora said as she came through the door with Sofia behind her "perfect! Let's get ready" Riley replied with a smile. I straightened my hair for once, not a wave in site. I also did Riley's hair for her, curling the ends lightly while Isadora and Sofia did their makeup

"Switch!" Sofia called from inside Riley's room. Riley and I left the bathroom, going to her room to do our makeup as the other girls went into the bathroom to do their hair "I don't know what look to go for" Riley sighed, looking over the eyeshadow pans in front of her

"Do like a pink and gold?" I suggest, patting my eyeshadow brush into the black "what are you doing?" She asked, looking to me across the room "black and gold" I reply simply, brushing the colour across my eyes. I did the rest of my makeup like highlight, foundation, eyes brows and fake lashes before turning to see Riley who had also just finished hers

"Oosh you look beautiful" I gush as she closed her eyes to show me her full look "you ready to get dressed?" Isadora asks as she came into the bedroom. She had done a side parting with all her hair laying on her right shoulder, Sofia had done a sleek pointy tail, curling the ends of her hair upwards.

"Sure" Riley replied happily. We got into our dresses, zipping each other in and helping to add accessories "Riley, the male species is at my front door. Why?" Mr Matthews freaked as he came into her bedroom "just tell them to wait daddy! We will be just a minute" Riley pleaded with a smile on her face, doing the straps of her shoes

"You guys ready?" Sofia asked, opening the door "oh shit I don't have my heels on! You guys go I'll be a minute" I reply, searching around the room for where I left my diamond covered heels "okay peaches" Riley smiled as they exited the room.

Lucas -

The girls came out of Riley's hallway, meeting up with their boys as no maya was to be seen "maya is putting her shoes on, 3rd door to the right" Riley told me, distracting herself from Farkle for a few seconds "thanks" I smile, leaving the main living room to Riley's bedroom.

I opened the door slightly, maya sat on the end of Riley's bed, slipping on her gold shoe before standing up and meeting my gaze. I was at a loss for words, the dress looked perfect on her "do I look okay?" She twirled softly "you look so beautiful" I reply amazed, giving her a small kiss

"You guys ready?" Riley called from the end of the hallway "you ready?" I ask maya to which she nods, taking my hand as a lead her out the bedroom to the living room. "Okay I'll be there watching you in half an hour no funny business" mr Matthews warned ss we left the apartment

"Yes daddy" Riley smiled, eager to leave. We headed down to the first floor, a limo waited at the front of the building "no way" Sofia said excitedly, pulling open the door and climbing in with Zach behind her. I helped maya get her dress through the car door, sitting down beside her "what's wrong?" She asked

"I-I just can't take my eyes off you" I smile "can I stay at yours tonight?" She asked with big puppy dog eyes "you don't need to ask" I kiss her, a flash from Riley's phone lit up the limo at the same time "how cute!" Riley gushed, looking at the photo. We all laughed, continuing to talk about random shit on the way to the school

Once we arrived we went inside the doors, missy stood there in the tightest red dress you've ever seen, big black platform heels on her feet "Lucas! Let's dance" she pulled at my arm "yea let's not" I spat, pulling my arm back from her and turning to walk off with the group

"Dance with me!" Riley said excitedly, pulling maya away from me as the girls joined the other students dancing. "Come on huckleberry" maya laughed a few minutes later, us boys looked to each other with a sigh before dancing with them. Dancing is so not my thing.

The rest of the night we just had fun, dancing and drinking the punch "we would now like to share with you the summer dance king and queen" Mr Matthews called through the microphone on the stage. A big circle formed in the students from where the dance would be

"Queen goes to Missy Bradford" Mr Matthews spoke, a hateful tone in his words. Her two followers clapped as she went up on the stage, taking the crown and placing it on her head "I would like my king to be Lucas Friar" she batted her eyelashes, looking over to me in the crowd

"Disgusting" maya spat quietly, I wrapped my arm around her "actually miss Bradford, your king is Charlie Gardner" Mr Matthews took back the microphone. Maya, Riley, Sofia and Isadora all burst out laughing as missy screwed her face up

"Ready to go hime?" I asked maya at the end of the night "Yea" she smiled "let's go"
