Chapter 6

          When we glittered into onto Foxfire campus Mr Forkel walked up to us.

          "You two need to need to get in there right now! It's not safe for Miss Foster to out side anymore." Sandor pulled out his sword automatically. 

          Keefe pulled me closer to him and asked, "Why is that? I thought we got rid of all the trackers that the Neverseen had placed on Sophie."

          "We did, but now we think they know that you are awake and are coming after Sophie to use her as leverage," Forkel replies grabbing both of them and pulling them inside.

          Once we were inside, Biana tackled me with a hug.

         "When Forkel told us that you were in danger, we all got worried since none of us had heard from you. Fitz was supposed to go tell you that there was a meeting but he was supposed to tell you to leap straight into the school. And he never showed up after," Biana told Keefe and I.

          "That's weird because he came and told us there was a meeting and then got mad because he thought I was cheating on him. When I'm not even dating him!" I said thinking back to the conversation.

          "Why does he think you were cheating? What did he walk in on?" Biana said looking between Keefe and I.

          I transmitted to Keefe, You can tell them. 

          Keefe looked at me and grinned, "Foster and I are official!!!" He practically yelled. 

          "Wait, so you and Sophie are dating?" Biana asked. "I don't understand how that's something you can walk into."

          "Well Foster and I were reliving old memories and after Ro got Sandor to leave us alone we completed a memory that should've been completed a long time ago," Keefe smiled at me and then Biana gasped.

          "You guys kissed!?!" She squealed.

          "Wait, but what did Grady think?" Dex asked.

          "Well after Sandor kicked Keefe out of the house he went and told Grady and Grady gave me the longest lecture ever. But I hardly listened," I replied.

          "Okay, no more talk about kissing," Forkel interjected. "We have to worry about a missing Fitz."

          "Isn't it weird that Fitz disappeared right after he had told us to come here and pretty much led Sophie into a trap?" Keefe asked.

          "That is weird, Sophie can you see if you can located where he is?" Forkel asked.

          I nodded and stretched my mind as far as I could. I listened for Fitz's thoughts and heard his accented voice somewhere in the Forbidden Cities. I kept listening to his thoughts for any clue to why he was there.

          I stumbled back and gasped for air. No, he couldn't. He couldn't join the Neverseen.

          "Foster, what happened. What did you hear?" Keefe voice had hints of concern in it. 

          I couldn't think, couldn't breath, couldn't move. The monster slowly creeped its way to the surface and took over. I walked out of the room when Forkel explained what he had heard. Keefe called for me to come back, but I was tired of being betrayed. I was outside before I knew it and Keefe had caught up with me and grabbed my arm. He yanked me back inside right as a black cloak jumped in front of me. I screamed.
