Sunna's POV.

I opened the door out of the room and looked in the hallway. No one was in the hallway for right now. There was a door a little way down and maybe there would be a window in that room. "Come on, follow me." I said to Leya before sprinting to the door. It was unlocked. I looked inside to see a bunch of desks and along the back wall had two windows.

I opened the door wide enough for everyone to get in. The wolves were still hesitant, but went into the room with Leya and I nonetheless. I heard voices in the hallway as I closed the door silently. I looked at the others and put a finger to my lips. The voices grew louder as they passed the door and continued down the hall. I sighed a breath of relief and went to the window. It was dusk and light was starting to fade. I looked around and noticed that we must be on the back side of the building because there were a few dumpsters and the forest wasn't too far away.

I opened the window and helped Leya jump out. The wolves were able to pull themselves out. I jumped out and landed on soft grass, making me want to kiss the ground yet our escape wasn't over. I looked at the others who were also loving the taste of freedom before motioning for them to follow. I started to inch out from the building's cover.

One moment I was moving in stealth, the next I was running for my life. The wolves easily out ran Leya and I, but they stayed close enough to make sure we made it. We were running through the forest when suddenly a pain erupted inside me and fell to the ground. I bit my tongue to stop a scream from escaping my mouth. I knew what was happening before I started to feel something force me to shift.

It felt so unnatural. This was not a normal shift and none of me wanted it, but I need to get out of here. I allowed the shift to happen and it hurt worse than my first shift. I don't think I could have ever imagined pain like this. After the transformation was complete, I started to stand and I noticed how much taller and larger I felt. I looked to see the others had waited for me. They too seemed surprised with my larger size.

I shook my head and started to run towards the border. Are we heading in the right direction? The wolves ran beside me and they seemed to know which way to go by how determined and confident they were in the way we were heading.

I started to hear shouts from behind us and I noticed Leya fell behind. I turned to wait for her, but she shook her head. Go Sky. I won't make it. I feel another shift coming. I hope they gave you the right stuff, so whatever is happening to me won't happen to you. She said through a mindlink.

I shook my head. I will not leave you. We are both going to make it out of here. I told her firmly.

No. Sky I will not make it. They are coming and we all will not make it, but you can. I am not letting you die because of me. I want to die fighting and with a purpose. Please Sky, let me do that. I love you Sky, but please let me save you. Leya pleaded.

I love you so much Leya. I don't want to lose you. I didn't know what to do. I was about to lose my best friend after all of this. We were just so close.

You never lost me, Sky. I will always be with you and you will always be with me. Leya smiled at me with tears running down her face before she turned and ran in another direction. She made her steps loud by pounding her feet and stepping on sticks.

I turned to the wolves who were waiting and nodded for them to continue. We started to run again. Tears were running through my fur. I just lost the werewolf I trusted most in my life. This pack is going to pay for everything it has done. I will make sure of it.

We finally came upon the border, but it was blocked by werewolves. Range, who was next to me, howled desperately for his pack. What should we do? We can't get past all those werewolves. Suddenly, wolves came from behind the werewolves and attacked the blockade. A familiar black wolf came from the trees and snapped a werewolf's neck with ease before moving onto the next. The wolves I was with and I crossed the border and went farther away from the Raw Power Pack's territory.
