5G (The bigger picture)

I was heading home
One late afternoon
When I saw something strange
Fall from the sky.

Was it a bird?
Was it a plane?
Was it a man?

Then another hit my car's face
Blood splattered, cracks filled my vision
The dead bird lay there
With wings in eternal flight

Soon more fell from the sky
And I saw cars dodging
Almost like P.E during dodgeball.

What was going on?

I neared a village of structure,
Something that I never seen
Radiation towers stood 100 meters apart.

This wasn't the city I drove out yesterday
Or was it?

I passed one of these steel trees
From the jungle
And saw something that would
Only happen in fantasy:
Our natural trees, our beauty, our breath
Was half dead straight from the middle.
The other half being vibrant in blossoms
Numerous birds coated the ground beneath.

When the night fell down
Our cities were coated in blood dots
As it overpowered the other lights.

Right then I saw it.
5G was stripping everything from us.
We don't have the miracle of living
But the summoning of chaos and dying.

This was the future we were so hyped about,
This was what we wanted.

But all those glitters in the story books
The stories of futurists and historians
Never predicted the choas in the midst

They never said that we'd
Enter the dystopian era
And a forgotten world will soon be born.
