Winter, winter

Winter, winter

Winter, winter dancing inside my house
The cat went to hide with the mouse

The fireplace went cool
The flowers I bought lie sprawled on a stool

Winter, winter dancing on my skin
The hair on my arms stands like pins
The fish in the fish tank has frozen fins

Oh how dreadful is the winter
It's worse as a splinter
In your finger
But it always waits and linger
Season in and season out
It comes all about

Spring come and save me
From this dreadful winter spree!

My veins stand solid with blood
While the winter brings cold like a flood

Winter, winter my worse enemy

Go get Spring and Summer
While you go for another slumber.
