"NO!" Rebecca jolted awake and sat straight up in the middle of the bed
"Woah.. Hey.." Colby's hands were on her back automatically as he sat up next to her "What happened?" He asked and she shook her head as she stared in front of her in the dark "Another dream?" He asked
"They're so real.." she said and he placed a kiss on her shoulder
"It's okay. They're just dreams" he said "What was this one?"
"She wasn't real" she shook her head "Ella didn't exist.. she never did.." she whispered
"She is though.." he nodded and "see.." he handed her his phone to show her the cameras in the little girl's room "Thing one sleeping soundly in her room" he said and she smiled before her smile faded and she jumped out of the bed and ran to the bathroom just in time to empty the contents of her stomach and he went quickly after her
"That would be Thing Two & Three letting you know that they are very much real as well" He said as he rubbed her back and held her hair away from her face
4 Weeks earlier..
Colby walked into the house and sat the bags from the store on the kitchen counter. Rebecca looked at him as she began putting the groceries away
"Did you get them?" she asked and he nodded as he got in one of the bags pulling out the pink box
"You really think you're pregnant?" he asked
"I mean, I've been tired a lot more lately and I'm breaking out which happened with Ella.."
"Have you missed your period?" he asked
"It's late by a day" she said and he nodded
"Okay" he took a deep breath "Are you taking it now or waiting?"
"I'm gonna take it tomorrow" she said and she began putting the groceries away and he nodded "Actually I'm gonna take it now.." she stated and held her hand out to take the box from him
"Why am I nervous all of the sudden?" he asked
"You and me both" she said as she began to walk out of the kitchen
"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked
"Sure" she nodded "but You're not watching me take it" she said "That's a little much" she said as they walked up the stairs towards their bathroom
"Are you forgetting I watched them cut you open, remove your organs and take our daughter out of you before they put your organs back? Can't get any closer than that Becks" he said and she shook her head
"You have such a way with words Lopez" she said and he shrugged
Rebecca took the test and walked out to the bedroom, where Colby sat on the edge of the bed. She placed the test on their dresser and sat the timer on her phone before turning to him and walking over to him.
"This is the first time I've taken a pregnancy test and actually wanted it to tell me I'm pregnant" she said as she stood in between his legs
"Are you as nervous taking it this time around?" he asked as he held onto her arms
"I don't know.." she shrugged "I mean when we took the test with Ella I was terrified because of where I was in my career.. now I've done everything I've ever set out to do and I feel content with it" she said
