August 26th - 20 Weeks
Rebecca walked into the venue in New Orleans for Monday Night RAW and she was immediately surrounded by all of the girls that were in the locker room
"BECKS!" Nattie yelled with a smile
"OH MY GOD!" Lexi yelled
"You better start telling details!" Ember said
"Congratulations" Leah hugged her friend "Now spill" she said and Rebecca shook her head
"That's between us" Rebecca said "but I will say this, it was unexpected and it was perfect and that's where I'm gonna leave it" she said to a chorus of aww's and she rolled her eyes
"OH MY GOD!" Leah exclaimed
"What?!" Rebecca exclaimed "What's wrong?" she asked and she saw Leah's hand land on her bump
"Look at it" she cooed "It's so cute" she said and a few more hands made their way next to Leah's and Rebecca just rolled her eyes, she had discovered that people just want to touch the bump for some strange reason.. now given most people ask but these girls were like family to her so she just let it happen
"Hey hey hey" she heard Colby's voice breakthrough the rest of the voices of the girls who were mesmerized and he made his way through the group and started gently smacking hands away "Hands off the teeny tiny" he said and Rebecca laughed
"Aww he's protective!" Lexi cooed and Rebecca smiled up at Colby
"He better be" Joe said as he walked up to the group "That kid is the improvement version of him" he said
"What if its a girl?" Nattie questioned
"It won't be so we don't have to worry about that" Colby said with a smug smile on his face
"I hope you get a girl" Ember said
"Why?" Rebecca questioned
"You not so much" she looked to the redhead "but him" she pointed to Colby "You need a girl who is just as beautiful as her mother just so you can get karma"
"Karma for what?" he asked
"Do you remember your attitude towards women in the past?" she laughed and Rebecca looked up at him and he just shook his head at her with a small smile and she let it go... for now
Once the taping was over for the night the couple ducked out of the venue early, before any of the fans were outside and were able to see them. They still didn't want fans knowing what was going on, they wanted to keep this private as long as they possibly could.
The drive to the hotel that night was silent, checking into the room was quiet, and it was silent as Rebecca got a shower.
She walked out to the balcony where Colby was sitting in one of the chairs and looking out over the city. As the door opened, he looked up at her with a small smile and held his arm out for her, she sat on his lap as he kissed her cheek.
"What was Ember talking about earlier?" she asked quietly and he took a deep breath "and you can't tell me nothing because I saw your reaction at the building and I see your reaction now" she said
"It wasn't nothing" he shook his head "I've had quite the history with women"
"Psychos" she said and he laughed
"Yeah" he said "I've had my fair share of those as well" he nodded "but I wasn't a good person in the past.. I was very arrogant"
"No! You?!" she exclaimed with her hand to her chest
"Ha ha" he said "Yes me" he nodded "but it's not something I'm proud of" he shook his head "I treated women as objects back then, whoever would have sex with me at the time was just that, they were who would have sex with me.. I didn't feel anything for them, I treated them like they were nothing" he shook his head "I was a dick" he shrugged "I know that now, like I said I'm not proud of it but it's who I was"
"You've grown up since then" she said "You weren't perfect, you're still not no matter how much I think you are" she smiled at him "but nobody is perfect, we all went through wild phases in our lives.. I don't hold that against you and anybody who does is stupid and they don't deserve your time, they don't deserve to know the real you, the amazing guy that you have become"
"I love you, you know that?" he questioned and she nodded
"Good" she said "because I love you" she kissed his lips quickly
"I'm just hoping if we do have a girl, she's like you.. not me" he shook his head
"Oh lord" she laughed "I was a wild child from the age of twelve.."
"So what you're saying is, girl or boy, with our personalities mashed together we're screwed either way"
"Pretty much" she nodded
"Maybe We will get lucky and this kid will be the better version of both of us and not go through that wild phase"
"Regardless of what this kid is like, He or She will be loved beyond belief"
"So much love they won't know what to do with it"
