They watched Rebekah walk away in the dark with the tears threatening to fall after saying goodbye.
"I don't want your last memory of me to be my death so please let's not say the sad goodbyes" klaus tell Elijah
"I agree let's not" Elijah replies as he takes the white oak stake from his jacket breaking it into two.
"I hate to disappoint you brother ,but the stake still be effective in its shorter form"klaus says as he looks at the two stakes that are in Elijah's hands
"I'm aware"Elijah tells him
"So you plans to hold a piece as a souvenir?" Klaus asks
"I intend to die by your side" Elijah answers
"I'm dying your not. The moment I end you're free" klaus yells him
"Free of what" Elijah questions
"Free of the mad king brother. You can do whatever your heart desires" klaus replies
"This is my heart desires" Elijah tells klaus
"Niklaus we didn't choose to become what we are;to be or not to be was taken by Esther and mikael . Stole from us niklaus. I'm stealing it back" Elijah adds
"Brother tonight I truly saw a path. I saw a vision of the future of everyone that we love and then when I look at my own future" Elijah continues
"The purpose of my life, my unrelenting desire has always been your redemption" Elijah carry's on
"And after everything I done, you truly believe I am redeemed" klaus questioned
"Yes I do" Elijah answers
"You're a hypocrite" klaus says
"You forced me to go through all those painful goodbyes and then you slipped away without telling a soul" klaus adds

"I told them I was going to redefined always and forever ;that I was going going to follow you from this adventure to whatever lies beyond and each of them give me their blessings" Elijah adds

"Well she's have marcel and Rebekah and freya." He answers
"I even looked kol in the eye and I told him if he didn't look after her I'll come back and haunt him. Elijah says with a sad smile
"She is the very best of me" klaus says
"Yes she is" elijah says as he hands klaus the other stake
"What if their's nothing after this"klaus wondered
