Elijah sat in his study staring at the wall drinking Bourbon
Elena walks in without knocking
"Get out Rebekah "he says without looking at door
"At least you didn't call me Katherine"she says
making him drop his glass
Elijah got up and walked toward Elena
"Elena"he breathes her name
"Elijah"she says forming a smirk
"What are you doing here" Elijah asked
"I got a call and from what I heard your spiraling"she says as she began to walk around
"Who called you"he asked
"That's for me know"she answers
"Elena who called you"he asked again
"I'm not telling you" Elena says
"Don't make me ask again"he says almost yelling
She laughed
"Is that a threat?" She asked still laughing
"We both know your not capable of hurting me" she adds
He watched her with a blank expression as she walks to the bookshelf touching the spines of the books
Elena looked over her shoulder looking Elijah up and down, her eyes lingered on his face
"If you really want to know who called me , you have to tell me why you turned it off" she tells him
"How do you know i turned it off" he questioned
"Because my Elijah wouldn't be here right now, he'll be trying to get klaus out of trouble right now"she tells him
"Your Elijah"he questioned
"You always been mine"she answers
They just stared at each other
"Rebekah" she whispers
"What" he asked
"Rebekah called me" she says
"Why"he asked
"You know why; your just not ready to admit it"Elena tells him
"So why did you abandon your emotions"she asked
"Because I don't want to care anymore"he tells her
"That's not an answer"she yells
"Tell me the truth"she adds
"Why"she questioned
"Because I spent 1000 years cleaning up my brother mess and I'm tired of it , I'm always there to get klaus out of trouble"he says
"Why" he asks
"Elijah you always been about your family, I knew that from the moment you step foot in mystic falls. That's why we understand each other the most family above all right and you can spend another thousand years getting klaus out of trouble but this time you have me" she tells him
Elena held him in her arms as he the tears began to rush down his face
"You know Rebekah called you because I fell in love with you" he whispered
"I know I meant what I said your mines" she whispered before she kissed him
"Finally" rebekah yelled as she busted in the room
"Really Rebekah"Elena says
"What do you want rebekah" Elijah asked
"We gotta go get klaus outta trouble" Rebekah replies
"Ready" elena asked
"Always" he answers
