Nandini had nothing to say which is why she stayed back. Together they had dinner and then Manik picked up the car keys and got down with Nandini. They sat in the car and exited the gate. Coming out Manik asked.
Ma-if you don't mind.......can we go out for some time.........I am bored.
Nandini thought of it and then said.
Nan-okay.
Manik bobbed his head and turned his car accordingly. After a nice ride, Nandini noticed them to be at Marine Lines. Manik parked the car and they got out. Coming close and then sitting on the built block, they both were looking at the calm sea.
The cold winds blowing their hair and making them feel alive. The calmness yet the sound of the waves, the beautiful fragrance of sea water and mud. All in all it made them feel light. They stayed silent for a very long time and then Nandini said.
Nan-kitna ajeeb hai na........zindagi cut jati hai aur pata bhi nhi chalta hai........yahan aa k ehsaas hota hai life mei kitna kuch hai karne ko..........kitni sari chize hai jis k baaremei socha bhi nhi hai kabhi.........aisa lagta hai jaise mei zinda ho........kuch kr skti ho........kuch krna chahti ho.
Hearing such words Manik frowned and asked.
Ma-aise kyu bol rhi ho tum?
Nandini looked at him with a smile and said.
Nan-pehle mei pura time dadaji k sath thi na.........toh mauka hi nhi mila.......pehle bachpan phir kuch bada ban ne k liye mehnat.........jab sambhal gayi toh dadaji bhudhe hogaye.........unki dekh bhal mei waqt kaha nikal gaya pata hi nhi chala.........phir woh chale gaye...........and I got you..........one thing I realised that badi badi chize krne k liye bade paise ki zarurat hoti hai.
Ma-tum paise ko lekar yeh keh rhi ho?
Nan-haan but I didn't mean it that way......... like agar muje vacation chahiye toh......... budget ka sochna naa pade.........I need to take a leave from office.........phir kuch mis match nhi hona chahiye..........woh toh mei kr skti ho.........but then i feel.......akele jaa k kya karungi.........na koi dost hai na rishtedaar.

Nandini giggled at this and then said.
Nan-shadi..........pehle toh list mei hi nhi hai.......aur agar ho bhi toh.........ladka kaise dhundu.....muje zara bhi experience nhi hai abt boys.
Ma-kis type ka ladka chahiye tumhe?
Nan-pata nhi..........and jab karna hi nhi hai toh phir kyu uske sapne dekhu.
Ma-par tum shadi kyu nhi krna chahti ho?
Nandini kept looking at him for a few seconds and then looked ahead, Manik waited for her reply but gone none. He didn't bug her more for that and again silence prevailed btwn them and then suddenly Manik said.
