Chapter Five + A/N

A/N: Heya guys! It's ya boi Shara/Jay. So like, my inspiration is low, but if you guys wanna request a bit of a side-story (will not affect the storyline, usually.), then go for it!

'Day 1
Okay, not really day one. It's only been a few hours since Dream and Blue basically dumped me ;( But anyway, I'm stuck here. My room seems a bit familiar, for some reason. I have officially isolated myself in this room AND (without Nightmare's permission) painted the walls to my liking :D it's basically just some random sketches all over the walls. I'll paint it tomorrow!

So, with this balance thing. 

Apparently, it's this thing that tips between creation and destruction; thus why the Anti-sans' have been destroying AUs. I guess I'm sorry about that? I really had no idea, nor do I know how to feel about this... Or any of this, for some reason. How should I react to this? I mean, it all happened to fast-

I'll continue writing tomorrow. Error just called me down for something.'

I slammed my little "diary" shut and ran to the door, slamming it open. "Uhh- Hey, Error!" I stumbled on my words.

He gave a bit of a nervous smile. "Uhh, heya...? Are you hungry? Or am I disrupting your sleep?"

"Pshh!" I waved him off, taking a seat on my chair. "I don't sleep."

Error finger gunned and looked around. "Wow. Uhh, mind if I come in?"

I nodded absentmindedly. "Yeah, sure. It's a bit of a mess though."

The glitched boy looked around with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah. A bit. Stars, Ink, it's literally been not even 4 hours and you've managed to make a huge colourful mess."

"That's what I do best!" I said proudly.

He smh'd and walked in, taking a seat on a conveniently placed chair. "How long are you staying..?"

"Uh, I think 7 days or something. Err, until they figure something out," I responded.

"Are you sure you don't remember anything?" He asked with an unreadable expression.

I shook my head instead of responding. I picked up my pencil and drew a base, before occasionally sneaking a glance at Error- I was drawing him.

He sighed. "That's troublesome. The save files have been glitching, too-" he cut himself off, realizing he might've said something he shouldn't have...

"The WHAT files?!" I yelled, standing up. "Save files, Error?!"

Error looked away uncomfortably, before looking back; sighing again. "The save files. Follow me, Ink."

"Whoa..." I whispered, the huge screen's lights making me wince. "Doesn't Nightmare know about this?"

"Actually, no. For some reason, he doesn't," Error said. "At least, he never said he did..."

"That really doesn't answer my question, Error!" I snapped back.

Error looked at me, annoyed, before stepping forward and touching a slanted screen. It glitched, a pink and yellow-ish colour flashing before a few words appeared. 

I followed him, looking down at the screen. It was almost unreadable. The words only readable were, 'RESET' and 'SAVED.' With a little bit of brainwork, you could figure out the word, 'FILE,' which is the one Error clicked.

"You see this system? I remember a few fragments of... 'memories' occasionally when I visit here. There is one thing I remember clearly now- Which is the name 'Shattered.' But in this timeline, there's nobody named that. The name also shows up in one of the files, but all the files can't be clicked into now," Error explained slowly.

'Shattered.'

Why does it sound so familiar? And why did my thoughts immediately drift to Dream?

"I..." I began, not sure what to say. "What do you mean by 'fragments of memories'?"

"Memories that don't seem to be mine. I have memories of my own life, sure, but they're somewhat blurry. There are also memories of things that I don't think I've experienced before, either."

My mouth began to speak on its own on this point on, now. "Am I in any of them?"

His face heated up before he covered it and recovered. "Yes. You're quite clear in them, too."

I felt my face also burning up a bit, but I ignored it. Now wasn't the time for this grldfkhukgrfsd

"Anyways!" I announced. "It's getting late... Uhm, I'll head to sleep now. Goodnight!"

I began to walk away and Error called from behind me. "Goodnight, Ink!"

'Day Two

I'm backkkkkkkk
It's a lot better here than I thought it'd be. Dream used to tell me that his brother chucked his teammates out the window! I guess it was slightly true since he threw Dust out the window earlier this evening. Everybody's been treating me well, and, truth be told, I like it here. Besides that, Blue was there today and met up with Dust. Lovebirds. 
So, I cooked today, but Error completely fucked up the eggs. Lust choked on them. Poor baby TTvTT

Sooo, now, we're having a movie-night tomorrow or something. But there's that balance thing again... Nightmare destroyed another AU. I mean, now, I understand the concept of it, but doesn't this mean we have to be enemies until we die? Isn't there a way to stop all of this mess? It's already getting tiring- And it hasn't even been my 1000th birthday yet! Sheesh.

What can I do though?

I'm just a slave to this world.'

'Day Three

rieuodfhgrdfshkdf I just finished painting my room. Nightmare almost threw ME out the window when he saw it. Serves him right. Once I move out, he'll have to suffer from this overly-colourful room forever :)

Cross seems to have forgiven me a bit, after learning about the balance. There's a new rule thing about all the guardians/guardian's teammates needing to know about it, just so there's no grudge thing. 
I visited the save thingy with Error again today. I'm still really confused about 'Shattered,' since, for some reason, I keep thinking of Dream when his name is said. Maybe I should ask Dreamy about it when I get back.
We also had a movie-night today. Error leaned on me??? And I blushed?????? smh
I really don't understand the whole point of this, since it feels more like I moved in temporarily//sleepover but I have to pay rent- Not cool, Nightmare, I make less than you do :/

I'm gonna pass out, so, goodbye.'
