there was a couple at the park today. they walked past me as i was sitting on the old wooden bench in the front. they were laughing loudly, and glanced into eachothers' eyes, like nothing and/or no one else mattered. i watched them entwine their hands together, swinging their arms back and forth. you know, i wonder. i wonder how much longer i'll be lonely.

walking home, it was really cold, and i wish some guy would just pop out like in the movies and put his jacket over me, or something. the minute i walked through my front door, i was greeted by the sound of my parents cussing out each other and arguing. and so, i ran upstairs and into my room. now my earbuds are in, blocking out everything the world has for me to hear. i'll let the music take over.
