God talk to me.
Why do I not feel
You are near?
I cannot live without You,
And depression sets in.
It must be because
I am evil, and full of sin.
Am I impossible to clean?
Please tell me that I am free
From this bondage
Of worldly things.
Is there something
You're telling me?
And I see, and there is.
You're love, oh God,
Has sought me out,
Not of my works,
Oh how I miss.
I cannot reach,
I hide in sin,
But You found me,
Made me whole again.
With grace beyond,
Mercy I'm on,
And clothed me
In righteousness.
