Expectations

                                              They hover over my head
                          And I know I should let go,
                          Nothing is ever perfect

                          Only God is, I know.
                          

                          These to-do lists I have,
                          Are not set in stone,
                          They're not my worth,
                          It's only God alone.
                          

                          Why should we stress,
                          Everything in its time.
                          Life is beautiful,
                          So is my life.
                          

                          These expectations,
                          They hover over my head,
                          But I know it's all good,
                          I should enjoy life instead.
