Chapter 26 - I'm sorry

Olivia: But I said we were done

Robert: He knows that you were mad, he won't take it seriously

I was on the phone with Robert. It's 9 o'clock and I've had a shouting from my mom because I left school at lunchtime. I've tried calling Austin but he's not been picking up and my mom's grounded me for what I did. I haven't told her why I left though, she would go mental. I talked with Robert a wee while longer then I decided to go to bed with my clothes I had on during the day, not bothering to change.

*Next Day, Friday*

I woke up by the sound of my sister yelling from behind my bedroom door to get up. I went and had a shower, did what I needed to do and jumped out. I dried my hair and straighten it. I did my make-up and changed into an outfit from my closet. I walked downstairs and got myself some breakfast. While I was eating my cereal, I checked my phone to see if Austin texted or phoned me but there was nothing from him. I wondered if he'd meet me at the corner this morning, I doubt it. I grabbed my school bag and held Gabby's hand and walked her to school.

*At school*

Sarah: Liv, Robert's looking for you

Olivia: Why?

I arrived into school and walked to my locker and found Sarah and Jackie there.

Sarah: Not sure, he was with Austin, Alex and Zach though

Olivia: Where are they now?

Jackie: Zach had to go to the library so they might be there

Olivia: Zach's in a library? 

Jackie: I know, I think he had a blow to the head or something

Olivia: Haha, okay well I'll see you's later, i'm gonna go find them

Sarah: We'll come too, there's nothing else to do

We made our way to the school's library and found them chatting outside the library door. Austin must of seen me because he said he'd caught the guys later and walked away.

Sarah: Just give him time Liv

Olivia: I don't think he'll give me that

We walked over to them and Robert dragged me to the side so me and him could talk on our own.

Olivia: Sarah said you were looking for me? What's up?

Robert: It's about Austin

Olivia: What's happened?

Robert: After we talked, he called me and asked for advice 

Olivia: About what?

Robert: You

Olivia: Me? Why?

Robert: He honestly thinks you have broken up with him

Olivia: I didn't mean to say that though, I was just frustrated with him that he won't listen and it just come out that's all

Robert: If I was you then I would go find him and talk to him

Olivia: Okay, thanks Robert, and I know this is hard for you 

Robert: How do you mean?

Olivia: I know you still have feeling for me and everything between me and Austin, your in the middle of it, and it most be killing you

Robert: I'm getting used to it

Olivia: I'm sorry I put you through this

Robert: It's okay, it's what best friends do right?

Olivia: Yeah, i'm gonna go look for him

I gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek and went off looking for Austin. I found him standing outside our homeroom door. He had one foot up against the wall and was on his phone. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number to see if he'd answer me. 

It started to ring and I watched him, he was hesitating whether to answer it or not. He didn't answer and locked his phone and put it in his pocket. What have I done? I truly think I've wrecked this relationship. I decided to go up to him.

Olivia: You know it's rude not to answer a phone call?

Austin: Olivia...

I walked closer to him and looked into his beautiful hazel eyes.

Olivia: I'm sorry about yesterday, I didn't mean what I said

Austin: That we were done?

Olivia: Yeah, I didn't mean to say it, it's just you weren't listening to me and I.. I just popped. 

Austin: The thing that you said before that though...

Olivia: That was true, I couldn't tell you because the more people I told, the more possible it was that Colin found out, and I didn't want him to find out, he's my only thing I have close to dad and if he found out, him and mom would split up, Gabby would be stuck in the middle. I can't split up my family

I had tears building up in my eyes now and Austin noticed as he pulled me into a hug.

Austin: It's okay, I'm not going to tell anyone, I promise, I'm sorry

Olivia: I'm sorry too
