Apology

Jacobs POV
I lost my best friend. All because of my raging temper. She looked at me like I was an animal while she stood behind Matthew French, terrified I was going to hurt her. I would never hurt her, I was just scared she was gone.And of all people she goes to Matt French. The one guy I don't want her with. I want her with me, but that's never going to happen now. I keep texting her but she won't respond. I want to go over to her house but she will flip out if i do. I've screwed up everything. Just then Meghan texted me and said she was coming over. I wasn't in the mood and I cheated on her. She had to know. I was going to tell her and break up with her.
My doorbell rang and my mom answered it. She let Meghan in the house and Meghan came upstairs. My mom did not like Meghan nearly as much as she liked Payton. She loved Payton. Meghan opened the door to my room. I laid on my bed with a basketball in my hands throwing it up in the air. "Hey J" she said. She caught the ball and force kissed my lips. My lips were covered in her lip gloss. She sat down next to me. I sat up. "Hi" I said quietly. "Listen Meghan I have something to tell you" I said. "I went to on the border yesterday with Payton and while I was there, this waitress sucked me off in the bathroom. I'm sorry." I admitted. Meghan's face stayed straight the entire time. "It's okay baby I just want you to know that if you need that done come to me ok?" she said rather calmly. "But why were you with Payton?" She asked. "Well I was going to talk to her about some stuff because now she seems to have a thing for Matt French" I said. "Do you like her, Jacob?" She asked me. "No, she is just my best friend and I want the best for her." I lied. "Don't do it again Jacob. She doesn't want your friendship, if she did she would be talking to you." She said harshly. "How do you know she's not talking to me. Oh I don't know because you accidentally left me a frantic voicemail for her" she said dryly. "I'm sorry babe, I just really care about her." I said. "She doesn't care about you Jacob" she said. She saw how upset I was so she took my hand in her hand and gripped it tight. She stroked my hair and softened her tone of voice. "Baby we can't have a good relationship if you don't get over her, she's not helping you be happy right now. I want you to be happy okay?" She said. I nodded silently. I was just going to have to wait it out.
The next day..
Payton's POV
I walked into dreaded first period. I used to love that class but now I hate all my classes because I have none with Matthew and Jacob is in that class. I walk into the room and Meghan was sitting on Jacobs lap. He seemed happy enough. I moved to my seat and he saw me walk in. He shifted is attention over in my direction but I stared straight ahead. I looked at my phone and saw that Matt texted me.

Matt: your volleyball coach is going to be late to practice today and Nicole asked if i could coach the first hour of it and she said I could! (:

Me:really?! Yes!! (:

Matt: I know(: don't screw around or I'll make you run (;

Just then our teacher came into the classroom and began to lecture us about how to get correct evidence for essays. Jacob constantly looked at me during the class and as soon as the bell rang, I booked it out the front door. I went to my locker and swapped out my books. I shut my locker door and there stood my man crush Monday. He wore tan shorts and a blue button up and white converse. He poofed his hair up just right and his eyes sparkled. He smelled so good. He was just the person i needed to see. I crashed Into him and gave him a hug. He smiled and pulled my face up. He said "hey beautiful". I smiled and continued to hug him. He took my books and we walked hand in hand to my next class. I made sure to walk by Jacobs locker and smile extra with Matthew. He looked up at me from his locker and was going to say something but he stopped himself. People around the school were buzzing and I received 10 messages from people asking about me and Matt. One buzz that wasn't so hot was from Tiffany Shelling. I heard that she was pissed because she still liked Matt. She was going to flirt it up with him so that he would ask her to homecoming. But then she heard about me, but that wasn't going to stop her plan. I went up to my next class hoping that things wouldn't turn ugly.
Jacobs POV
She walked down the junior hallway holding hands with Matt French. The coolest senior at Legend. I can't believe this.
Matts POV
I walked Payton to her next class and my buddy Ryan came up to me. "Dude are you hooking up with Payton Walker?" He asked. "'No I'm not hooking up with her, I happen to like her" I said correcting Ryan. "Nice bro, she's hot. Hot chocolate!!" Ryan said thinking he was funny. "HAHAAH sure dude" I laughed. I went to my next class and it went by pretty quick. I was at my locker and it was in the senior hallway. Tiffany shelling came up to my Locker and started talking to me. "Hey Matt! what's up??" She said. "Nothing much actually" I said. She pulled her already cleavage bearing shirt down even more to show her cleavage. I personally didn't think it was attractive because she had fake boobs and I was all about naturals. "Listen what are you doing for homecoming?"she asked me. "I have some tricks up my sleeve" I said slyly and vaguely. I think she took that as an invitation to get all weird because she got closer to me. "Awesome. I hope I'm one of those tricks up your sleeve" she said nastily. She grabbed around my neck and said "surprise me". I think she thought that i was going to ask her to homecoming. She's wrong. I just had a cute way of asking Payton. I went down to the gym and thanked the coach for letting me coach for like 10 minutes, it was all just a ploy so I could ask her to homecoming. I took a ball and a sharpie and wrote, "Payton, I would DIG it if you went to homecoming with me, because I know you'll be a great HIT! -Matthew " I also got the whole lacrosse team to stand in the back of the gym and write homecoming on their stomachs before I hit the ball at her so she wouldn't know who was getting asked. It was awesome. The day went by pretty quickly but the entire day Tiffany kept winking at me literally thinking I was going to ask her to homecoming. It was time to put my plan into action. I changed into my sports clothes and some nike free runs. I went into the gym and started acting like I was warming up. The teams came out of the locker room and immediately the freshman and sophomores were freaking out about me being there. I was the hottest guy in school. Payton came out of the locker room with Nicole lastly putting her hair up in a ponytail. She wore black spandex and a dig pink legend shirt. She had all her stuff on and didn't see me in the gym. The freshman and sophomores were still making a commotion so she looked to where they were looking and she saw me. She smiled and ran over to me. I gave her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. She pulled away and said "coach I lead stretches around here" " okay" I said putting my hands up. I stood up against the wall as my baby lead the whole legend volleyball program in stretches. There were about 30 girls. They did all stretched and the Hoeish freshman and sophomores hoisted up their spandex and did their stretches right in front of me. But the only ass I was looking at was Payton's. She stood up facing the other direction and her ass was moving with her every step. Not in a fat way, but like wow. one by one the lacrosse guys came in and stood next to me against they wall. "Dayum look at Payton's ass!" Cole said to me. " I know right! Finished leading the stretches and the whole program followed her to Circle me. The lacrosse guys stood against the wall on the far side of the gym. "Okay let's do arm Warmups with a partner and pepper" I said. Some freshmen acted like they didn't know what they were doing so I help them set up the game of pepper. As soon as they were set, Cole tosses me the ball I wrote on and I called Payton over. "Hey babe" I said. I tossed her the ball and we began to pepper. Behind me were the lacrosse guys and one by one they each took of their shirts which revealed a different letter spelled out on each torso, with the whole thing reading homecoming. Payton looked up as we peppered and saw the guys. "Aww how cute some is getting asked to homecoming!" she exclaimed. I wanted her to see the ball, so I stopped and caught the ball. "Hey this ball seems flat what do you think? I'll get another one" I tossed her the ball with the writing on it. She pressed the sides of the ball and bounced it to see if it was flat but then she realized that there were words on it. She read the whole thing and looked up at me with wide eyes, and I said "Payton! I would dig it if you would come to homecoming with me!!" She widened her eyes even more once the lacrosse guys started moving in on us. The other volleyball girls stopped peppering and watched as this proposal was going down. "Of course I'll to homecoming with you!!" She exclaimed. She ran into my arms and I pulled her in for a hug she wrapped her legs around me and I held her thighs as the volleyball girls awwwed and the lacrosse guys cheered. I looked at her and kissed her right on the lips. Just then their volleyball coach walked in with a camera and was awwing too. She handed the camera to me and congratulated me and Payton.
We both smiled and said thank you. Now that this was over, I had to leave, but I kissed Payton goodbye and said I would come over to her house later that day.

Payton's POV
My baby left the gym and I was still in shock about what just happened. Nicole knew about it so she hugged me and smiled. We didn't have a game till that Thursday so we had a little talk before practice because every girl on all the teams wanted to know how I got Matthew to ask me to homecoming and what was going on between us. I explained that we started having a thing since like last Friday. We hung out and went to dinner and just got to know each other. Some girl on JV said that she envied me, and another girl on the sophomore team said she thought I had a thing with Jacob Tucker. I quickly corrected that. I was just close friends at the time with Jacob. We then started practice. We scrimmaged JV until it was time to go. As I left, I took my ball that Matthew wrote for me and went in the locker room. I took my stuff off and got my bags and went to my car. I got in and went to Wendy's to pick up some fries. I got got 3 medium fries, one for my mom my brother and I. I drove home and got out of the car. I walked in the door and my brother came to the door. I handed him his fries and he disappeared into his room. I went up to my room and emptied my stuff from my backpack. I then went to my moms room where she was laying on her bed with Drew, but they were just watching tv. "Hey guys!" I said. "Hey sweetheart"my mom said. "Hey Payton" Drew said. I didn't even see his car out front. "Well I just wanted to say hi and also that Matt asked me to homecoming today!" I said. "Congrats girl!" Drew said. "Thanks!" I said back. "We can go get your dress tomorrow"My mom said. Awesome!! I walked out of my moms room and thought, what if he asks her to marry him? Oh well. I went to my room and took a quick shower. I threw on some yoga pants and a tank top and started doing my homework. Matt texted me and said he was on his way with some food. I smiled. I heard the doorbell ring and Cameron opened it. He set all the food down on the counter and then came up to my room. "Hey baby" he said smiling. "Hi honey!" I said back. He sat on my bed as I was at my desk working on homework. He brought his backpack and started working on it with me. He leaned over and kissed my cheek while we worked. My mom and Drew came to my room to see what we were doing. They poked their heads through the door to see me and Matt hard at work on our homework. We both finished, and so we laid on my bed. "When is the day i can touch your butt?" He asked randomly. "You could have this entire time" I said slyly back. "But you said not too!!" He claimed. I smirked. "Well sometimes you have to break the rules to get what you want!" I said smiling again. He pulled me on top of him. "So you mean I could have done this this entire time?!" He said as he placed his large firm hands on my ass. He gripped it and he smiled. I smiled because it felt really good! "Yep" I giggled. He let out a frustrated groan. "Pay because of this I'm gonna grab your ass for a while to make up for the time you've cost me!!" He said jokingly. We made out on my bed and the entire time his hands were on my butt. I smiled though the makeout session. We finished up and we went downstairs to eat. We both got some orange chicken and rice and went down to the basement to watch some tv. We watched some college volleyball. I sat in matts lap and I felt his dick get hard on my butt. "That's because I finally got to touch it" he said matter of factly. I giggled and kissed his jaw. We watched for a little bit more and then he had to go. I thanked him for the food and for coming over and for asking me to homecoming. I entered my house and Drew was still there, talking with my mom on the sofa and drinking coffee. They seemed to be in love. I was falling for Matt too. He is the first guy I have ever had a thing with and he treats me amazingly. Plus he was my first kiss, so he might be my first love. I went to bed happy, and grateful.
