Sometimes we like to believe that we know someone when all we know are lies. Often we chose to believe those lies because it's easier than facing the truth.
It's not always because it is easier for you. We make sacrifices for the people we love. So when you both know it is a lie, trusting that they know what they are doing shows trust.
