I FELL INLOVE WITH AN ENGINEER..
There's this guy I met year ago. He's my blockmate. He's taking up the Engineering course while I'm taking up the Education course. I admit he's handsome, he has that brown eyes, white skin and pointed nose. Take note, umiigting panga nito. He's my classmate in one subject and everytime he enters the classroom, parang pusang makasigaw ang mga kaklase kong babae. Tulad ngayon, kakapasok niya pa lang biglang umingay na ang klase. Nakakarindi. Heto namang si Mr. Engineer, feel na feel ang pagiging gwapo. I rolled my eyes and continued writing my note. Minute has passed, he talked my seatmate and asked something. I didn't hear their conversation but all I know right now, he's already infront of me.
"Hi." My eyebrows met as he greeted me.
"Chill, ang suplada mo naman haha. I just want to befriend with you." He laughed as if we're friends for a long time.
"Hi, I'm Gary. You?"
"Helen."
After that moment, he always sit beside me. He talks lot of corny stuff and shares inside jokes that he has. He's very interesting, he loves cat, he plays an instrument and he's even a smart one. We became bestfriend. Nagkamali ako na hinusgahan ko siya kaagad. He also told me that he has only one ex-girlfriend, and he's single for almost 3 years. Inshort, naging sobrang close kami to the point na lahat ng tungkol sa kaniya ay alam ko.

"Oh, huwag madaya sabi eh!" I pushed him and kept his remote control game. Natatalo na kasi ako sa laro at ayokong ilibre siya ng kwek-kwek. Amp.
"Talo kana kasi! Huwag kanang umasa na mananalo ka! Bwahahah!" Sabay kuha sa kamay ko, at ganoon rin pagtago ko sa likuran ko. Habang inaabot niya ay bigla kaming natumba at bumagsak sa sahig.
My heart skips a beat. He's so near that I can even smell his breath. And at this moment, I knew. I knew that I am falling to this guy.
I don't want to confess my feelings for him until one day, he invited me for a dinner.
"Bakit mo naman ako inimbita sa ganito kamahal na resto?" I asked as I gazed my eyes to the beautiful place. I just can't believe someone brought me here. Like hello? I'm NBSB and I never experienced any kind of date.
He held my hand and I was shocked when he kneeled infront of me.
"I-I don't know if you'll gonna accept me or reject, but I just won't let this day end without asking you, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
My eyes widen as he said those words. I felt like my heart will explode anytime. I can't even breathe. Unconsciously, I smiled. If you only knew how much I waited this day!
"Yes!" He hugged me as I answered his question.
Our relationship went so well. May bangayan at tampohan rin pero nauuwi pa rin sa iloveyou. Hanggang sa nakapagtapos na rin kaming dalawa. We even planned about our future. Our savings. Our house. Our children. Sobrang maalaga niya talaga. He's so sweet, funny and loving boyfriend. He wont even sleep if I am still mad at him. I can say I am lucky to be his girlfriend. I am also proud that he's a passer of Board Exam. Yes, he's now an Engineer, and I am a teacher. Masaya ako dahil unti-unti ng natutupad mga pangarap namin.

"Kukuha na lang tayo ng Architect, ako na bahala sa bahay natin." Proud niyang wika.
"Basta ang plano natin ha. 2 storey lang, simple lang pero maganda syempre. Tapos may garden tayo, and mayroon tayong maliit na swimming pool para may bonding tayo sa mga anak natin." Wika ko at tumango-tango naman siya.
"Sus. Kahit 5 storey house pa 'yan. O 'yong parang Hotel del Luna? Madaming room?" He joked. I pinched his nose and replied,
"Bakit andami namang room--"
"Kasi ilang beses din kitang bubuntisin." He cut me off. Pinalo ko siya ulit saka tumawa kami. We're celebrating our 9th anniversary here in restaurant.
I never thought having this kind of relationship. Sobrang open namin sa isa't-isa. Ngayon, ay iniisa-isa na naming tinutupad, may sarili na kaming sasakyan, at susunod na ang bahay namin. Sa tingin ko, kasya naman ang pera namin sa papagawa naming bahay. Kulang na lang talaga ang magde-desinyo nito at siya ang gagawa. Napangiti ako habang tinititigan siya. Isang taon na lang, isang taon na lang at ikakasal na kami. Bubukod na kami ng sarili naming pamilya, and I cant wait to happen that. Ang ikasal sa taong mahal mo.
"I love you, mahal." He uttered and kissed my hand.
"Thank you for everything. Thank you for loving me since day one. Thank you so much mahal. I can't wait to marry you and have children with you."
My face turned into red, and my heart thumped as I felt the butterflies grumbling inside my stomach. Grabe, sobrang sarap mainlove sa taong mahal ka.

"Yes, I do father." Gary answered.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife."
The church filled with loud applauses. I can see in each person's eyes how happy they are as they witnessed the memorable wedding.
My eyes started to get wet and my heart clenched.
I shifted my gaze at the altar, giving me an unbearable pain. I stepped and turned my back to them as I realized that Gary and I didn't end up together.
Remember the time when we need an architect? Sana pala ako na lang gumuhit no'n.
Because the Architect that we got is Gary's ex-girlfriend. Nagkabalikan sila at iniwan ako na parang basura.
Funny how we meet people along the way, and will give a big impact to our lives but will not be there in the end.
I wiped my tears off and ran away far from the church. I hate their smile! Their smiles speared me causing me to cry even more.
I fell inlove with an Engineer, and he's inlove with his Architect.
