Happiness is just a matter of perspective. It's your choice how to look at the world.

Zoya's P.O.V.

"Shhh!" I tried to quieten the exciting kids.
Everyone of us were busy decorating the dining hall for Miss D'Souza's birthday.
Miss D'Souza;
Our caretaker
Our mother.

I was on the stool, hanging the last balloon when my balance got weak.
And "thud!" I fell.
Everyone stood still.
Statued.
They looked at me with scared face when I broke into laugh.
They relaxed and laughed with me.

But all that stopped when we heard footsteps.
"Shhh!! It's Miss D'Souza.... Everyone in their place...hide fast."
I stood up limping a little, hiding behind a curtain.
Damn! My butt hurt.

The switch flipped, lights on.
"Surprise!" Everyone of us came out from the hiding place.
There stood Miss D'Souza with night gown on.
A little sluggish from sleep.

She looked at all of us giving a full blown smile.
As everyone sang the birthday song for her.
Tears welled in her eyes, she hugged each one of them.

I limped towards her and gave her a bone crushing hug.
"What happened to your leg?" She questioned her voice stern.

"It's nothing Miss, it's just that while decorating I fell." I replied nonchalantly.

"Nothing!?" She pulled my ear and said," stop being naughty for once." As I laughed removing her hand from my ear.
And kissed her on cheek
"Nothing will happen to me."

She smiled shaking her head as we cut the cake.

Life is like the ocean.
You can either be the ball floating on the waves, or make your own waves.

I was woken up by the kids in the morning.
Miss D'Souza opened the curtains letting the sun peep inside the room.
"Take the kids out Zoya." Miss D'Souza said.
I nodded smiling at the kids.
My bunch of happiness.

After having breakfast, everyone of us sat in a van while driver took us first to the Funhouse.

Funhouse;
Where all types of roller coaster are present. It's a little out of our town in the city.

Every year on Miss D'Souza's birthday i always bring the kids in the city.
It's like our ritual.

All the kids were happy to try all the roller coasters.
Samar stood beside me, pushing my shoulder a little with his shoulder and spoke,"you can go, I will be here to look after the kids."
