It was a Time For Gargoyles

Lexington is going to get us all killed

You know when you first wake up in the evening you want to relax on the couch with a good book, some popcorn and a blanket. Well tonight wasn't one of those nights unfortunately, as soon as we woke up from ur stone slumber I wrap wings around me and bump shoulders with Brooklyn making him smile "Good evening" "Back at you" I smile back till I see Elisa standing in the center of the clock tower with a frown on her face and her hands in her pockets

"What is it, Elisa?" Goliath asked making me sign I just wanted a night to red with Brooklyn "Bad news, I'm afraid, The Pack escaped from Rikers Island" she says making my eyes widen, this isn't going to be good "What?" Lex yells maybe a little to loud making Brooklyn finch "Nice wake-up call".

"How did it happen?" Goliath asks but my eyes glow purple showing me several scenes letting me know that tonight isn't going to run very smooth. We should just leave well enough alone. "What are we waiting for?" Lex almost screams as he runs back up the stairs "Where do we start? Manhattan is a bigger castle than the one we used to protect." Broadway states which he's right it is they could be anywhere.

"The Pack Media Studios, They'll go back to it like snakes to a nest And I'll be waiting for them" Lex says about to jump off but I grab his arm "that's the first place the cops are looking, shouldn't we just leave this alone. they hate our guts and are probably setting a trap." I try to reason with everyone but Lex isn't thinking straight at all. I look to Brooklyn for help which he sighs and jumps up on the ledge as I do as well "Alright Lex, you, me, Del will check it out to be sure okay?" which the young gargoyle nods. We decided to bring bro along which I'm not sure is a fantastic idea but he loves getting out so why not.

Here is a fact, I know the Pack will be there but only show after the cops are gone

Fact: it's going to be a trap for the 4 of us to lure Goliath and the others

Fact: I know this isn't Xanatos' end goal and this whole interaction is pointless but this is my family and I have to support them

Fact: Lexington is going to get us all killed.

by now were stacking out the Pack building waiting for anything interesting to happen which it hasn't yet but Lex is getting restless making me sigh. Brooklyn rubs my back in between my wings making me smile.

"Looks like they figured they'd be here just like Elisa said the cops would" I mention almost sarcastically but nobody seems to comment on it "The police can have them, after I'm through with them." Lex says full of teeth like he's holding everything back to not just just into that building and strangle them which I understand but dude get it together. "Look, Lex, I know how you feel, You trusted them and they used you, Nearly got you and Goliath killed I feel the same way every time somebody mentions Demona. But you can't let it consume you. You need to remember what's really important: Family, protecting our home." Brooklyn says which honestly makes the most sense and I'm glad he has his priorities right now since LExington does not. "You have your priorities, and I have mine" Lex spits out almost taking me back "Lex" I start but Brooklyn interrupts me "I gotta tell you, Lex, you're starting to worry me"We see the cop cars start to drive away indicating that the PAck no showed but that's not going to fly with Lexington as he flies down to the Pack room Come on, Bronx, Del No sense staying up here where it's safe" Brooklyn says making me chuckle and we fly down follow our small tan friend with his head in the gutter. "Nobody home. Happy now?" Brooklyn says crossing his arms but I look around with a feeling in my stomach they're here somewhere "Guys we need to leave" I say which make them look at me before a blinding white light shines from the floor starting to move up. we see the Pack aircraft rise then okay seeing wolf step out way to confident for my liking. I pull out my bow staff moving towards the boys but it seems that they aren't on the same page at the moment as LExington tackles Wolf knocking over Brooklyn. Broklyn takes dingo while Bronx attacks hyena. Jackal knocks brooklyn down. So run and tackle wolf pinning him to the ground with the staff which he struggles with "Can't all of you leave us alone," I tell him but he kicks me off making my staff skidded across the room. Wolf moves onto Lexington while Dingo jumps on my back trying to almost ride me like some bull in a rodeo I manage to throw him off growling now. Dingo electrocuted Red taking him down "Brooklyn!" I yell but in my distraction something hard hits the back of my head my vision going completely out just great. _______________________________________________________________________________________

By the time I wake up, my head's pounding, my whole body feels like it's made of like steel, I look up seeing Brooklyn holding me protectively having me lean on his leg making me smile. I look over seeing Lexington bang on the side on where ever we are with Bronx trying to dig us out. Brooklyn finally notices I'm awake and slowly sits me up making me groan and hold my head "We're in some type of boat, the steel like 10 feet thick" He informs me making me nod "So we're stuck here huh" I laugh a little which makes him smile a little "Yeah, we are, Lex and Bronx are persistent to get us out of here" "I tried to tell him it was going to be a trap but he didn't listen to me" I tell him looking down "What's the point of seeing the future if no one will listen to your prophecies" I tell him makes him hug me "like you said before, you can't stop the further from happening you can just change it. so by warning us that this was a trap then things were changed it's just how you look at certain things you know" red says as the entrance at the top of the room opens us making all of us scramble to get out finally.

once I get to the top I look around seeing everyone in pairs fighting each other, I see Hyena twirling my staff making me growl my eyes glowing red. I race towards her trying to get a hit in as she just dodges my attacks. Suddenly there is a huge explosion across the ship throwing us to the ground, giving me enough time to grab my silver boi staff. I end up throwing hyena towards her brother twirling my staff around kinda triumphantly now it's the PAck on one side of the ship and the Clan on the other I look around though the entire ship is on fire making me lower my staff. looking back at the pack I see them running off to their ship making Lexington furious.

Explosion start to go off all over the ship making me cover my face with my wing,

trying to keep balance as the ship starts to rock back and forth "It's time to leave!" I yell to the clan putting my staff in it's hollister taking off. Broadway and I grab Bronx off of the tip of the ship and head back to the clock tower with the others for some much needed rest.
